Assassin's Creed Origins:Deluxe Edition (PS4)

After Ezio series; AC 2, Brotherhood (the best) and Revelations ( a perfect ending) the ones that followed were pretty mediocre. Black flag was good. This Game blows away the idea of open world game. Origins has a massive world.Maybe bigger than GTA V and Red Dead Redemption. Factors that puts AC: Origins ahead (some might frown) over GTA V and RDR is the immersive game play. Hunting, Climbing, Interaction with envt, weapons, Combat, Enemies, Soundtrack are to name a few.Combat is pretty challenging. I suggest play in HARD mode. Every enemy has a difficulty level. If they are 1 or two levels above you, then combat is tough, if further above, you'll be killed like a mosquito. One death per hour is more or less certain. Even the same goes with animals.You can climb pretty much anything. Yes!! Anything. Now you don't need to take a long route to reach atop of a mountain. Simply can climb vertically.SENU the Eagle is what we always wanted in Assassins Creed. In origins we do not have eagle vision, bur actual EAGLE's Vision. Use Senu to track, follow, set markers, even fast travel (if senu is within 300mts)A.I is absolutely amazing, for instance: In a side quest when an NPC is asked to go home after the quest, the NPC actually runs home, rather than just disappear. You can follow the character with SENU (the EAGLE) and can even listen to his post quest conversation with another character.Bayek is always on running mode. No need to press any other keys (AC fans will notice the difference).How to play: Ideally play all the side quests, explore areas, loot transporting, hunt and reach higher levels.I reached level 8 before leaving the first area (SIWA). Even at level 8 there are two places in SIWA that you cannot approach. Enemies have SKULL over them (Too high for Bayek)I played almost 8 hours (in detail, solving puzzles, upgrading,dying- a lot) before "Leaving SIWA".This game is Massive. Awesome. Challenging. Accurate to a great extent (even the interiors of Pyramid of GIZATo use DELUXE CODE-> In game, go to store and enter the code and you get 1. A Legendary Sword, Spear and a Shield, Desert Cobra outfit and A bad ass horse. A Naval MissionI can go on writing, but i suggest buy it to experience it.*************************************************************After 103 hours, i have earned all trophies. This is the first game for which i have put in so much time to earn all trophies. Totally worth it !!

First i played it for some hours and deleted it, i have played a lot of odyssey before buying this gameLater i decided to retry it and i understood how doing quests helps and how leveling works, leveing scaling can be turned off which is nice, there is always much to do even though at its core the missions generally consists of "find and rescue, investigate and kill and assaination missions"Story is good but i didn't like the ending so one star is off for that, different weapons gives different attacking options, there is depth in gameplay even though it is limited to something like souls games, although the world can be plain compared to odyssey, there are good areas in the game, sound/music is good, fighting is fun.You cannot just do story missions as they have level requirement and you are basically forced to do side quests but the side quests have depth too, i found witcher 3 very boring but after finishing this i will retry that game.If you are fan of the series, it is better than syndicate, do not expect ship based combat like in black flag, overall much more fun game, initial area will give you wrong impression, play a little long after you reach the new city and you will soon understand how travelling is not about plain deserts.I will be buying odyssey again thanks to this game and finish odyssey this time. odyssey is better looking with better graphics and story in my opinion but this is also good.

Excellent graphics and very very long game.. u won't finish it within two days.. u have lots of map to cover and lots of side quest. Though the human face looks little cartoon animated but i wont blame bcz thr are thousands of characters.The only thing i feel the CONS is, The fighting moves are less. Just swaying the sword in 2 or 3 different ways that's it. It might be more awesome if there is lots of moves. The old Prince of Persia has different moves which makes the gameplay outstanding.

I bought this game after I finished AC Odyssey, and a lot people on social media said Origins is way better, unfortunately that's not true. I'll keep it simple so here's what I like and don't like about this game.Pros:- World design, every little detail is just mesmerising to look at.- Soundtrack- Graphics- Bayek and Aya, very likable characters and the voice actors are brilliant.- Story ( The opening and the epic finale, everything in the middle is uninteresting)- Combat ( for the most part, Odyssey did a much better job though)Cons.- Utterly boring Side Quests.- Very glitchy- Campaign length ( too short)- NPCs lack personality. ( Including the main villain )- Bad writing- Facial motion capture is disappointing non-existent in side quests, which is kinda surprising for a game of this calibre.- Unlockable weapons and armour suck aesthetically. I played the whole game with the original suit.I spent about 50+ hours exploring the world and finishing as many quests as possible, but in all honesty, this was a forgettable experience. I'll definitely play it later and maybe I'll like it more, but for now I am not impressed.It's funny Odyssey gets all the online negativity when the fact is it surpasses Origins in everyway.
