I use these notebooks on a regular basis and love them! I use one for work, one for school, and one for household tasks. They last long, have a perforated edge to rip pages out with ease and they are compact so that I can take one in my purse if need be.

I know we all have digital notepads in our pockets these days but nothing beats a pen and paper for getting your thoughts down and organized. These are great to have thrown in a bag and I like the perforation for those notes that end up living elsewhere.

These multicolor notebook has been the perfect size for organizational needs. They easily fit into a small to medium size purse or backpack. The variety of colors are very esthetically pleasing. The binding of the notebooks are pretty durable. The notebooks are also the perfect size to use as a coloring book for littles.

My concern was whether these would lie flat when the front cover and some of the pages are folded back underneath the remaining pages and the back cover. Fortunately, these Mead Five-star notebooks lie flat. What I am saying is that they lie flat when opened to double width, and furthermore if you open mid-way and fold the first half underneath, the notebook lies flat in that position as well. [I actually have a notebook this size from a big-box-store chain of office supply stores that does not lie flat when I do this! The end of the spiral is made in such a way that it interferes with the "fold-over" functionality.]

I use these exact notebooks everyday b/c they fit in my purse and I take notes and make grocery lists and menu plans in them. I know I could use my phone but I like paper better.

My daughter needed notebooks for school, so she put these in the cart for me to order. I should have read them, they are small. not regular 8x11 notebooks but like 5 inchesx6inches! lol.. I didn't return them as I found use for them myself.
