Micromax Lapbook Atom 11.6-inch Laptop (2GB/32GB/Windows 10/Silver/1.3kg), L1161

This is a tremendous value for money lapbook. If you want to a laptop for work or gaming or editing work do not buy this. This is just for web browsing, checking yoir emails, streaming, watching videos in YouTube, Netflix and Amazon Prime.The good:# This has 32 GB eMMC storage which is quite fast. There is a micro SD card slot which can take a maximum size of 64 GB storage card.# Videos run very smoothly. I watch videos on 1080p daily on this from YouTube and Amazon prime. The screen is HD 11 inch wide and very good, not matt but glossy..color reproduction is beautiful.# This has original Windows 10 preinstalled which alone is worth the money of this laptop.# Looks. Man, this laptop looks very beautiful. The main reason i took the risk of buying this was the looks. All silver, has a metallic texture but is plastic and not metal. This is a total Mac Book clone, even has the notch to lift the lid..# The hinge is tight and very sturdy.#Weighs very less, can take anyehere.# Battery backup is unbelievable. Has 5000 mAh battery. Lasts 8 hours on single charge.# Has a chicklet keyboard. Keys are soft and clickey.# Price. Damn, this was cheap. Bought this for 7,500 during sale. Was an absolute steal.# No heating problems as it uses eMMC drive.# No vents so no dust can get inside.The bad:# The silver color come off very easily. Comes off if you accidentally hit the corners.# Initially after an update it became very slow because Window 10 needs more RAM and this has only 2GB. But after another Windows update its fine now. Boot up and shutdown time is very fast.# VGA camera. Very poor and cloudy. Was having a video call, the person on the other side did not recognize me.# Speakers are not that loud but is allright.# Has problem reading from USB drive after it has been connected for sometime. Takes some time yo refresh data.# The trackpad is not very responsive and the two click buttons are horrible. Have to use a mouse for smooth functioning. I got a Bluetooth mouse.Final Verdict:As a secondary laptop this is great. I use this mostly in my bed where I do not prefer to have my bulky Dell laptop around. Everything this lapbook offers is a bonus considering this is cheaper than most of todays smartphones. Have been using this on and off for more than a year. Total value for money product.

Amazing product... value for money and battery life is awesome.. slim.. light weight and easy to take any where.. only one issue.. automatic time and date is not updating.. every time you have to change date and time.. overall awesome product..

I bought this product on August 2018. From outside the laptop seems to be good but when I start using it I understand the problems.1. Touchpad not working from 2nd day of my use.2. Heating Issue is there for no reason if we are not running any software also just win 10 os will heat it up.3. 3rd day Os stop booting.4. OS was 32 bit.5. Amazon send me a product with the manufacturing date of November 2015 that is 3-year-old product.Now I am tottaly screwed up. I lost a meeting due to this also I am not even able to switch off the laptop since it is just giving a black screen even OS is not loading. Friends dont buy this. Me too ignore the bad comments I got and taught of giving a chance to Micromax now I am done.

Writing my review after 2 weeks of use of the lapbook 1161-Pros-1. Excellent battery life2. Compact and decent finish of the product3. Genuine windows pre installed4. Presence of HDMI port5. Keyboard quality is impressiveCons-1. Power button is of poor quality2. Touch pad is a bit slow to respond3. System date keeps changing each time you boot the laptop4. Micromax lapbook logo looks cheap5. Limited storage spaceOverall, you cannot expect much from the lapbook, but worth the price if you are travelling extensively and want to browse the internet on the go.

I think for 12000 you can’t get anything better . I do my office work , surf the new sometimes watch YouTube videos ( not satisfactory though ) . But at the end of the day my job I getting done . Battery what they claimed ? 12 hours ? It’s way less than that . Space is not an issue for me since I store only a couple of songs and pdfs . Besides that the processor the graphics the hardware is good enough . You won’t be able to run any heavy software though .

Its a device which does what it promises to, nothing less, nothing more. The battery life is simply supurb and can be compared even to phones, and is ultra-portable like phones except it's a laptop. 32 GB storage is sufficient to run windows 10, but leaves space for a few movies and docs, but you should not expect much in terms of storage, which is self eveidient, and the complains about it in reviews seems moronic.The built is sturdy, and in chrome silver finish it's nothing less than eye candy. For me, Micromax was a Chinese brand, but this buy changed my point of view drastically.

Its nice & trendy, All value for the money. All the negative comments I read were more of user knowledge issue. there were few initial hiccups like screen getting blank at start up, mouse pad getting freeze however post the recent update of the OS every thing is fine. User just needs to understand the inbuilt memory space is limited hence saving or installing unnecessary files may lead to performance issues. Recommended external drive or additional memory card for saving files.

Using of two years ,there is no problem , just you need to do some tricks and settings to run without any trouble.Internet surfing is good, battery life is good, it's handy and portable, looks great.Good for word work with external keyboard.Good for watching movies.But you should not Store data,Don't do multitasking.disappointed with the touchpad. But if you know the tricks of finger gestures then it will be OK or you can use external mouse.
