Well constructed from quality materials
Arrived fully assembled and looked exactly as advertised. I added four 2” mounting brackets, painted it the same color as my house, and mounted it on the south facing side about 13’ above the ground. Plan to plant some night blooming flowers nearby and hope for the best!

Looks good, feels solid, just know you have to figure out the install options on your own
So, we won't know until spring if the bats will relocate to this, but we are really happy with the purchase. It's relatively low profile is great since we have to see it from our bedroom window all year round. The 3 insert walls with handy tactile surfaces for bats to enter and hang on seem very inviting! The wood is good enough quality that our drilling extra holes in it went very well. Yes, that's right, you have to figure out how to mount it. We ended up putting 2 holes up top and 2 on bottom, inserted hook and eye screws from hardware store and used industrial sized bungies to secure it around a pole.We also took time to put a darker stain on it as suggested (more attractive and will help with heat.) Then... after looking it up on web, we took bat poop from the summer roost area we had just closed off, swished it around in water to make a slurry and poured it in to let it sit in box overnight before we hung it up. Uh huh, people say it will smell more like home that way. So, you never know what they will choose, but we like the look, feel and possibility this box provided (and a better price than some other solutions!)

For price, better to buy than make yourself
We had a single bat attach itself to the screen on our bathroom window. He stayed there, hibernating for over 2 weeks. One day, he just disappeared. I felt so bad for him, I knew I had to try and help. Our bat house is hung and although it's too late for this year, perhaps we won't have any trying to survive outside our Windows again. It is beautifully constructed. We work with wood and after pricing out the materials needed to make one ourselves, it was just as cheap to buy one. The only issue with it is they stapled their label to the front. The staple is deep. Chances are, if you try to remove it, you are going to make marks in the wood prying it out. We left it. I could care less, the bats won't care, but someone might.

Solid Construction But With Some Pros And Cons
The pros: solid construction with venting holes and radar location slot on the front, nylon meshing instead of metal so will breakaway if bats get caught on meshing, black top to absorb heat, removable internal barriers for cleaning and repair. The cons: Nick to wood on the black top exposing white wood underneath (it's a brand new product, I want it to look perfect to start with), the meshing on the bottom barrier (the one out of three barriers that *doesn't* remove) was sloppily stapled when applying the mesh, causing the mesh to buckle instead of lie flat. It may cause problems when very small bats (the kind in my area) attempt to enter. The quantity of staples holding the meshing is also questionable. I have no way of correcting the buckled meshing without taking apart the entire bat house. This one is big-time: NO hardware or instructions were included to mount on a building or install on a pole. Nothing. I'm on my to figure out how to place and mount my first bat house. It seems that a company that has taken such thought in designing a thing could include detailed instructions on how to use the thing? Mounting hardware? None.As this is a new item, I can't comment on the ability to attract bats in my area. That's the real determining factor if it's a good choice or not.All-in-all, I'm pleased with my purchase, including the shortcomings I've listed and would recommend it to others.I've given it 4 🌟's but would have give 3.5 if possible due to the sloppy mesh application on the only internal barrier *I cant* remove, hardware and instructions not included. 🦇

Well built, but light enough to hang with just 4 small screws.
This is a really nice bat house - well built, but light enough that we were able to hang it with 4 small screws. As recommended, we hung it about 20 feet high on the end of a pole shed, so it's not possible to actually see the bats roosting during the day, but we know they are because there's now bat guano in the area.We live in a rural, wooded area and we have a lot of mosquitoes, so we really welcome bats. The Product Description states that it can hold up to 300 bats; I'm not sure that's possible, but it's surely big enough to hold a good number. I recommend this to anyone who's looking to attract bats to their yard.

This Is The Luxury Condo Of Bat Houses
This is the best bat house of all the ones I've purchased from Amazon. Very sturdy, very well made, quality wood, and large. The extra wood at the top of the bat house makes it super easy to mount using screws or nails (I drilled a hole first). I painted mine to make it last longer. I also removed one of the inside dividers so that it now has one large compartment and one small one. I think they accidentally added an extra zero to the number of bats this house can hold - it looks to me like it can hold around 30 of my large brown bats, not 300. But, that's still a lot of bats.

Up to 300 bat and 3 chambers!
I spent time searching for various options and I think this is the best overall deal. The 3 chambers are easily removable at the bottom (haven't thought about cleaning this when there are 300 bars inside- may outsource that one). Mosquitos have been intense this year and bug spray has had little effect.Bring on the Nature's Way Bat Box! The landing and chambers are more well suited for bats. The cheaper ones from the hardware store will likely not suite bats. Hoping this is part of the answer. Haven't installed it in backyard yet and will update review after.

not as advertised
Still decent for the price but not very well made and total false advertisement this thing is lucky if it holds 150 bats. 300 is just a plain lie. The holes on the side are stupid and need to be covered and the construction leaves a lot of gaps i had to seal and tong oil the whole thing i fear the wood will not do well wetupdate: its now been up for a few months and so far it seems to be holding up well in the elements with me added sealing and sprucing up witch took only 30 min and 1 night of dry time however no bats yet thou i here i may not see any till next summer

No outer packaging, risk of breakage. Over all excellent bat house at a great price
I gave four stars because the product has no packaging and Amazon shipped it as is, with some paper stuffing in the box.Sure enough, there is a broken piece. I feel that I can easily fix it with some glue.Overall feels very sturdy. Great size.

Bat House
Every home should have one of these in the Eve's. They are environmentally friendly and can house a lot of bats. This product is wood and all natural. It looks good on the house or garage or high on a tree. Bats search these out early each spring.
