I have a Persian and tried all of those other brushes that are supposed to de-shed and my cat absolutely hates them. I wasted a ton of money! Always had to go back to only using a comb until I tried this brush! OMG this is a lifesaver! It will get out all of the loose fur and my cat doesn’t give me a hard time. It’s soft on their skin so it can be used on their tummy. As far as I know this is the only brush that is worth purchasing for a double coat Cat. You still obviously need to get all the way down to every root with a comb but it’s so much easier being able to use this brush first. Any further that’s just starting to get Mat it will completely untangle so you don’t have to worry about working through the larger patches and you can get in their armpit area because it’s small enough and will not just rip out their hair. The little balls at the tips are really what makes a huge difference and the fact that it will bend versus ripping the things out from the root. Similar to what a wet brush does with my hair. I have used the wet brush on my cat but this is much better because it has a lot more give. I highly recommend this for Persians as well as other long-haired cats with cotton like hair which can be a nightmare! Good quality, a fair price and so easy to clean.

Works great on my two long haired cats. Especially works great on their belly and armpits. I specifically bought the smaller size for this purpose. The tips of the bristles are coated so it doesn't hurt their skin which is something I was looking for. Highly recommended.

Best brush for Golden Retrievers. It detangle the long hair of my dogs easily. I highly recommend it, money well spent.

I was skeptical that this was worth the price. And I tired to find something similar but less expensive and could not reproduce the nubs on some tines and not on others. I think that it what makes this brush comfortable on the skin but effective on the fur now that it's been a week, my cats enjoy the brush, if at first they were suspect. I have my first long hair cat and while still under a year old, we need to get her used to being brushed. She is more accepting by the day and for sure, we are seeing less shedding, softer coats and happier cats.

This is a great brush. It works really well on dog with an undercoat without pulling on her hair. It also works well on my cats. The bristles are not pointing and painful like some brushes. It is also easy to clean.

It took many months, but the longhaired cat I adopted has finally discovered the joy of a good, soothing brushing. I show him the brush first, and then we're good to go. We've had a few really hot days in this area where A/C isn't common. I don't have A/C either, so I think getting any extra hair off this poor cat must feel at least a little better. This brush works really well. He loves it! And I love the handle, which makes brushing him in any direction easy. This has become a relaxing part of every morning for both of us.

Very nice slicker brush. Coated tips and easy to clean. Light weight and removes a lot of hair. My dog actually likes out brushing times. I actually would have paid more for this brush. It's so much better than the one I had. Very satisfied with my purchase.

I love this brush! My dogs shed a lot, especially around this time of year. This brush lets me get to smaller areas and both my lab and shepherd seem to be relaxed while using it. Grooming is no longer stressful for them, and they look forward to being brushed. Grip is great for the person using it and it seems durable
