It looks like the text was poorly recognized by faulty software and then printed without editing. There is a weak preface by an anonymous author and no information on the publisher. It’s readable, but it contains lots of typos, so I advise you to find a better version from other publishers.

Fantastic collection of Kafka's works! The only minor snag is the layout in some works like "The Metamorphosis." The text is packed onto the page, making navigating the dense prose a bit of a workout when ideas and paragraphs aren't visually distinct. Still a great set overall, though!

Invest in any other edition, have no idea how the other reviews refuting the typos were satisfied with it. The fact that typos and misspellings exist to begin with is reason enough not to buy this edition, other better edited and translated versions exist.

Books are riddled with typos, unreadable. Which is sad because Kafka is amazing

Purchased as a gift so all I can say is they were very happy with them.

A previous buyer wrote "almost unreadable due to spelling mistakes". That is not the case. I encountered a few spelling mistakes in the intro to "the metamorphosis". In no way did it hinder the experience of the entire collection. Don't let that review hinder your experience of kafka

Arrived damaged but the far bigger problem is the multitude of typos and spelling/grammar errors which make it difficult to read and enjoy. Name of translator not cited anywhere which, coupled with all the errors, leads me to think it was translated using AI. Translating high quality works properly so as to retain the original's literary integrity and intended essence is an art form in and of itself. This publisher is selling an unacceptable version.
