Certainly bright enough to track the where about's of my dog in the woods at night and receives lots of nice comments from other people. Also useful to make the dog visible on the street by pedestrians and vehicles.Ability to recharge via USB very useful, simply plug it in when used for evening walk.Ability to customise length by simply chopping off excess with a pair of scissors means it should fit pretty much any dog.I liked it so much I'd also brought a green one and would probably buy more if other colours become available.UPDATE: Brought a red one as well, wrapped it round with the green one into a single 'Christmas' collar and loads of people in my village comment on it and want to know where I got it so I tell them - Amazon!

Excellent product. It is long enough for very large dogs but also very easy to cut down to size for smaller dogs. It lights up very well making it easy to see your dogs location in the dark and make others aware of your dog.

Bought two of these, on e green and one blue. The green is much brighter, and was easier to alter than the blue. Interestingly the green also arrived fully charged and the blue didn’t...although it’s easy to charge, so not an issue. I was a bit dubious about cutting them to size, as the instructions are a bit useless, but after a few goes at it I worked it out. It isn’t rocket science, but fiddly. I found that as long as your cut is clear of one of the tiny bulbs inside the tube, when you push the new end back onto the hard white plastic part it will work properly. A small sharp knife makes getting the tube off the plastic easier, but be prepared to push hard to re-attach the rubber tube! I’ve tried loads of different lights for the dogs, ones that fix onto the collar ( they swivel under the dogs chin and vanish) full on battery light collars, (ok but eat batteries) and these so far have been great value and easy to recharge. A simple and effective product. Also like the fact that they are very light weight, which for our super old blind spaniel is important.Update...the green collar continues to work well, the blue one failed after a few weeks, it was fuller than the green one from the start, and completely failed to re charge.

Very bright and easy to use. I was a bit confused over which size to order. But although it's one size and you can cut it I didn't want to break it. So I wrap it round his neck twice and it's really great. He is always on lead for night walks round town. As he is a Border Terrier I wouldn't let him off lead in the dark the smells of rabbits would be too tempting in the dark. He gets lots of field runs in the day without it on. A lady even stopped me and said what a good idea and how bright it was. He obviously wears it next to his collar and harness and it's perfect thanks.

The media could not be loaded.  This is a great concept and generally well made but ours broke after only 2 walks and now won't charge or turn on. Good points: easy to cut to length, very bright light so easy to see, comfortable for the dog to wear, easy to charge (micro USB) Bad points: broke after only 2 walks - now charging light changes from red to green constantly and collar won't turn on. despite being on charge overnight.

I read the reviews and seemed to be a good shout compared to similar products with poor reviews. I liked that you could cut to size and easy to assemble. All was well for three months and eventually it packed in. It would only light up when plugged in to charge which is obviously pointless. While I could easily have written a poor review, I did think it was a good collar when it was working therefore I’ve given 3 stars. I guess I will put it down to you get what you pay for.

Ideal for dark mornings and nights so I can see the dogs in the fields. Item is very easy to cut to size. Charge very quickly and lasts for many hours walking. Green led tells you when fully charged. Nice and bright. Great item

Really good to fit most dog sizes, cut to size. It’s Saved several near misses walking my dog at night, the collar is really noticeable a long ways away. Cars definitely pick up on the blue lights much further back than when she’s wearing her fluorescent coat. Great buy.
