Hearts and Ever Afters: Regency Romance Collection Kindle Edition

Usually short stories have very typical plots, and characters don't have much time to develop; I still read them for the happy ending. But these stories were quite different. The basic story lines were quite unusual in my opinion. Especially in the second story, I found myself wondering what the heroine was going to do next, how she was going to finish her plan off, what I would have done, etc. I was really drawn into the emotional turmoil which is kind of surprising for such a short story. I like short stories, but there is usually a trade off for a superficial plot since it is so abbreviated. That's not the way I felt with these. I'm going to look for more from this author right away because I enjoyed this so much! Short, clean, yet emotionally engaging!

I read each of these books when they came out. All were great short romance stories. They each had a little twist that made them enjoyable to read. I recommend this book to anyone that loves short, sweet, regency romance. I had received a free copy from Booksprout. This is my honest voluntary review.

I enjoyed each book very much. I highly Recommend them. Great characters and Stories. I could hardly stop reading till I had finished them all. I will be looking to buy other books by Joyce Alec. She has joined my list of Favorite authors.

I am happy to say that I would recommend this book for all ages due to her ability to keep one interested in pure adventure of characters in book.

Sometimes you just want to read fluff and happy stories. This fills the bill with entertainment and smiles. Are we really that silly when we are in love? Can a heroine be that foolish? Do men really think like that? Enjoy.
