And so do my bugs!I keep the container in the fridge just in case.It’s really easy to make - just measure out the powder, boil water, then pour 3x* (or less) the amount of water over it and mix well, then let it cool and serve as needed. (*Example: 1/4 cup powder would get about 3/4 cups boiling water.)It works a lot like jell-o mix.Store whatever you don’t use immediately in the fridge in a sealed container (see directions) to keep it from drying out.My critters all love it. The moisture content helps keep them hydrated too. Fresh veg is often best, but this is a great supplement and provides extra nutrients. My roach colonies are absolutely booming on this and so far my spiders seem to also be getting the benefits of good, healthy feeders. Even my peanut beetles and their larvae go nuts for this stuff.

So far the crickets go wild for this. Tons of them are even on their backs just to get a bite of the burger. I'm sure our 3 beardies are getting much better nutrients now.

I am using this to feed my crickets and dubia roaches. I buy the crickets and raise the roaches for my bearded dragon. Following the instructions and the final product reminds me of making jello. To make this bug burger you boil water, I boil the water in my microwave, add the measured amount you need based on the instructions, mix it, and put in the fridge to cool. I use a small disposable aluminum pan to make the burger, and then I cut it into parts and keep it in a designated container covered in the fridge. I also store the jar in the fridge. The roaches and crickets love this stuff. It is great, it might be my imagination but the crickets even look healthier and plumper. Glad I gave this a try as it is now going to be my go-to insect feeder food.

Anyone who keeps reptiles or amphibians probably know that Repashy is kind of a household name. They are known for making top quality products to help maintain your pet's health and wellness. I was really excited to try Bug Burger to feed my crickets and it lives up to the hype. This is by far one of the most comprehensive commercial gutload products available. I think you could only do better if you took the time to make your own and even then it would be hard to replicate all the ingredients. I call this stuff "cricket crack" because they absolutely swarm over it when I put it in their container box. I can feel confident that the crickets are getting all the goodness they need to pass on to my beloved animals. The best part is how easy it is to mix up. Just mix one part powder to about three parts boiling water and mix it. It mixes easy and completely and will set up over several minutes in the fridge or over an hour or so at room temperature. It turns into a gelatin like substance that is super easy to work with. It doesn't smell bad. I have never had issues with it molding like I have had with other products or my own homemade mixes. I can store it in the fridge for several days and it keeps very well. In my opinion, this stuff is worth every penny in convenience and performance. Just a great product all around. Love it!

There's not much to say about this product.It's well formulated for insects that will end up as feeders. There's a good amount in the jar and it will last you a good amount of time. I recommend mixing it into a paste and then dabbing it around your feeder's environment. It does depend on the insect but most will eat it readily.

Great for crickets and lasted a couple days with making one batch. Smells good and great consistency.

Our feeder bugs go absolutely wild for Repashy's Bug Burger! With a thriving dubia roach colony and plenty of other insect treats on the menu, it's great to give them something special. The roaches deserve a little luxury too, and this is like a gourmet snack for them! Happier, well-fed bugs mean our beardies and gecko are getting the best, and they’re definitely thrilled with their gut-loaded meals!

As an amateur entomologist and herpetologist, I'm very familiar with Repashy. They've been my go-to for insect food, crested gecko smoothies and supplements for years, and this Bug Burger is perhaps my favorite of all their offerings. I've never met a cockroach that didn't pounce on this immediately (and I've reared over 150 species of roaches).It's so easy to make and store, and everyone from common dubia and isopods to exotic micro roaches and hermit crabs love this stuff. And, I know they - and my reptiles that eat them- are getting the proper nutrition. Not only does Allen Repashy have an exceptional reputation for creating quality species-specific food, but a simple glance at the ingredients tells you everything - lots of whole foods and beneficial supplements.This is my secret weapon for lazy days and out-of-town trips. Just heat the water, mix it up, pour it into a pan then slice when cool. Viola! Instant freezable food that can be doled out as needed. I really like that it doesn't go bad before my critters eat it all - even in 90F degree enclosures. Highly, highly recommended.
