I got myself a Sony HX60 travel zoom camera, this was supplied with one battery so wanted to get a second battery, I priced up a Sony battery and charger and was shocked at the price.Had a quick search on Amazon and lots of batteries with chargers came up, so took the plunge and got the Chilipower kit because of favourable reviews, and I must say that I'm not disappointed in the least.This kit is supplied with 2 batteries, charger and a 12 volt lead so that the charger can be used in a vehicle with an accessory socket.I have been away on holiday recently and took this kit with me, the Sony battery was exhausted fairly quickly so tried one of the Chilipower ones, no problem at all, the charger also works fine with the Sony battery.This kit is a bargain, why pay more??

I ordered this for use with my 4 Sony cameras which, fortunately, all use the same NPBX1 battery.The Sony-branded originals are expensive and with 4 cameras, the cost mounts up so I tried these as alternatives. They are a perfect fit,, show the power remaining, seem to last just as long, charge just as fast and both the battery and charger are CE-stamped. None of my cameras were supplied with a charger rendering them out of action for the time it takes to recharge a battery which is useless when taking photos and/or filming throughout the day and an external charger is essential. The included 12v charger is a bonus because I tend to recharge batteries while away from home and can charge these while driving.I wouldn't hesitate to buy the same again and consider this to be a good value-for-money package. I also bought the equivalent package for my Panasonic FT5 camera.

I accidentally left the battery charging for 24 hours but the charger turns off when the battery is full so all good!One improvement I can see already is that they should give you a double-slot or triple-slot charger with this pack! I wouldn't mind paying a bit more for that, but it really is necessary. The problem is that these batteries take hours to charge, so when you have 3 of them and only 1 charger thats a bit of a bummer.I may go out and buy another double-charger, but I'll wait to see how inconvenient this becomes, because I can also charge directly from my action cams USB port, but it requires you to open a door and plug-in so you can't really use it much while charging.

Not had this package for long as I've only just got the camera. I wanted a back up battery for a recent trip abroad and this seemed almost too good to be true - 2 batteries, mains and car charger for £15.99 - but so far it has performed as advertised, although I haven't tried the car charger yet - no need as I haven't managed to run out my collection of 3 batteries!Thoroughly recommended.

Having just purchased a updated Sony RX100 M3 camera I thought it wise to buy one more replacement battery for my walkabouts, having checked prices for genuine Sony batteries I decided to purchase this more competitively priced ChiliPower package consisting of two batteries plus a standalone charger which has proved to be a wise investment, and has allowed me to carry a fully charged battery in the camera, plus one fully charged battery as backup. The advantage of this package is the fact that the batteries can be charged up using the charger whilst I'm out and about using the camera. The actual battery life of the Chilipower batteries has exceeded the original specs so I'm well chuffed.

I waited 5 weeks before writing this review to ensure both batteries were Ok gave a decent battery life and charged well. I am very pleased with the product, the charger works well and the batteries are a good fit, although it's important to ensure they are inserted correctly into the charger!battery life appears comparable to the Sony original and I guess only time will tell as far as longevity goes.Update 22/6/17, I have now been using these batteries and charger for 9 months and find their capacity to be close to the original sony battery. The charger is excellent and works well. Unfortunately I see it's no longer available.

I have a Sony DSC-HX300 Digital Camera, which is great, but it irritated me that I could only charge a battery whilst it was in the camera. This meant, if I had used both batteries up, I could only charge them one at a time, and couldn't use the camera until they were charged.With this charger though, I now have two extra batteries (that work perfectly in my camera), and can leave one charging in an electrical socket, whilst I'm out and about with my camera - exactly what I wanted.Highly recommended.
