Chalk Color Markers 8 Pack Liquid Ink Pens 5mm Rounded Tip

Product was as described and arrived quickly. However, since purchasing, I've received several emails begging for reviews. One email would be understandable but more than that is just annoying. So, if you purchase these markers you won't be disappointed (although you may have to get the tips filled with ink so they work, but work perfectly after that) but prepare your inbox for irritating emails.EDIT: Reading over my review I may have flown off the handles a bit. While I found the multiple emails a bit annoying, my reaction was likely due to having my email recently sold so I am wading through more spam than normal. That said, the product is really nice and the shipping was fast. I'm excited to use these for my wedding. Like other review have said, the tips can be slow to fill, but once they do fill they work wonderfully. I haven't erased them yet, but I've read that chalk markers can be erased with a magic eraser (the cleaning product) if they don't erase well with a damp cloth.

Pros: The color REALLY pops and it looks awesome on the glass windows in my office. These are excellent when using them for the first time. The cleanup is exactly what I was seeking. If you wipe it with a dry paper towel, then it will flake off and make a bit of a mess even though it leaves the window totally clean. Even just a paper towel with a bit of water wipes it off very effectively after going back over it with another dry one.Cons: I've only used the pens sparingly, but when I go to reuse a pen it has become a major challenge. It seems like the ink dries up a bit too much in the tip and prevents it from absorbing more when ready to use again. It has taken multiple attempts of following the instructions to even just get the ink flowing again. Unfortunately, even then I'm only able to write in extremely short spurts (e.g., not even one word) before having to push it down to have more ink sloppily drip down.Overall: I was thrilled when I first purchased this and if you use them regularly, then they might be perfect. I was very interested in how well they clean up and that aspect was excellent. I would consider repurchasing these when I need more, but I'd also likely be interested in another option that isn't so challenging to reuse over time.

When they first arrived I went to use them and thought I had wasted my money. I followed the instructions on the package and they appeared to be dried up. I actually came back on here to start a return process and came across a review that explained how you need to press really hard for the color to come to the tip on the markers. I figured I would give it a try once more before resorting to returning them for another product. I am happy to say that it worked and the colors are so vibrant on my black chalk board and they write so smooth. I haven't had any issues with erasing the colors as other reviewers have mentioned, I just use a damp towel. 4 stars because the instructions should really stress how much you need to press at first to get the color.

I purchased these chalk markers to use on small chalk boards. The colors are beautiful and I really liked how each marker either had a rounded point or slanted point. My only complaint is that you have to keep pressing the tip in order to make the ink come down. If you press it to much the ink runs down and all over your board. It gets a little messy so I found myself having to clean the area and restart again. I wish these markers had a squeeze bottle body to make it easier for the ink to come down.

I'm pretty happy with this purchase. The colors are quite nice! They write very well on glass, and wash/rub off easily with no remaining residue left behind.Unfortunately though, I purchased these intending to use them on chalkboard paint after reading in the Q&A's that they were fine on the paint. They are NOT. If left on chalkboard paint for less than a minute, it's fine and easily washed off. But if left on for slightly longer periods of time, it leaves a mark. I used the purple, and had to SCRUB the chalkboard paint to get the purple to go away, however there is still a shadow of what was written there still in the paint.I have not yet tried these out on dry erase boards, but when I do, I will update.

The marker function is great but the tip was frayed when I received it new. That was disappointing but not worth sending back for that alone. I like crisp , neat tools and this was not the case with this items coming frayed. I would try another brand before ordering this one again. Came timely and package ok. Clean up with water on paper towel worked fine. Paint flowed well once tip was primed and loaded for first use.

I've only tested a few times, so consider that in this review. The concept and the marker is great! Just what I need for writing my appetizers and entrees on my little chalkboards. A suggestion . . Add a little, small chalkboard surface (couple inches) that can be used for testing before using. Product comes out very heavy at each start, almost eligible, third tries came out perfect. I'll be interested to see how long it lasts, particularly with the start up problem. I do love it and will order again assuming it last a reasonable period of time.

You need to press down really hard and hold the marker there before it starts to work. I was about to write a "dried out didn't work" kind of review, and was really angry. And then the marker started to flow. I haven't tried to erase or to do anything other than mark a few things I put into the deep freeze, but the seller requested I send a remark, and so here I am. To the seller, good job, but you may want to include instructions or you're going to have some sad customers.
