SONAMU New York French Bijou Premium Leather Strap Compatible with Apple Watch Band 42mm / 44mm, Stainless Steel Clasp, Cappucino

I’ve had this band for two years now and wear it often, like 5-6 days a week often. I have a desk job btw. The pics are recent (after two years of use).PROS: The buckle/clasp worked great for me once it was adjusted correctly. It rarely ever popped off and If it did, it was because it was too tight. I have a small wrist for my size and (6.0”, 185lbs) and I still had an additional adjustment hole to tighten to. I really like the look and feel of the strap! The strap material itself held up and still looks great in dress clothes or a nice outfit.CONS: The loops are a little too fragile. The free moving/variable loop broke off after a year of use. The fixed loop has held on, but it’s wearing. The buckle does scuff and scratch, but it’s not too bad in my opinion. You’ll also notice some slight wearing on the tip of the band protruding from the buckle/fixed loop, that’s probably because the variable loop broke off allowing more movement of the tip of the strap.ADDITIONALLY: Although I believe it’s obvious, I don’t suggest a vigorous workout while wearing the band since the loops are fragile and the if the material gets wet from sweat it can warp and get nasty. I have had light workouts and a few mile jogs with the watch and it held up fine. However, I suggest taking it off immediately after the work out to let it breath or simply take it off prior to a workout.OVERALL: I think it was a good buy. If the loops were a little stronger, I would have gave it a 5/5 value for the money. I’m still considering getting a new one, but will look at some other options first.

I can get a little obsessive when I'm on the hunt for "the perfect thing" and I've been looking at lots of bands for my new series 2 stainless steel apple watch. When I saw this one, I loved the idea of the automatic stainless clasp, was leary of the pebbled look of the leather, and was not thrilled at all of the price. Now that I have it, I think it's winning me over. The clasp is well made. I say at least one other reviewer question the quality but it's exactly what I would expect out of a high quality band. It doesn't look or feel flimsy or cheap. The look of the leather is pebbled but not so much that it's a deal breaker. Would I have preferred a smoother look? Yes, but I believe it's not as pronounced as the pictures suggest. Also, even though the leather is not padded, it's still fairly stiff. I know that will break in over time. The price is still high, but after looking at alot of other bands, I'm not finding anything cheaper that is nearly this nice. Finally, and this is picky, but I'm not a fan of bands that come to a point at the end like this one. They always seem to catch a little easier on things. On the other hand what I was happy with was the metal inserts that are attached to the band. They complement the watch really well and look much nicer than anything else I've seen. Overall I'm happy with it

I cannot complain about the price and the grade of material. Snapped on easily and I was able to adjust the band easily to fit my wrist. Only disappointment was the durability of one of the loop bands (there are 2), which broke after a month of wearing. The second one has been more durable, and it seems the design of the broken one (it's fixed to the band) contributed to the wear and breakage. You don't really need it as everything else works fine with it and the pricing is decent. 4 out of 5 due to the band breakage, but otherwise a good purchase.

I bought this for my husband as a gift. It is very handsome. It was expensive, but it is a quality product that really dresses up the watch. He has the SS with black face Apple Watch so I bought the black caviar band. I had been looking for a new band for a couple of months at a number of stores. I didn't find a band that I thought wouldn't make the watch look cheap.He had the SS mesh band that was an Apple band. It would often loosen up during the day and he was continually tightening it. Once he set this band up it is very comfortable and the watch stays put. It was a little tricky to put on the first time, but after that he doesn't seem to have any problems with it.

So, as others have mentioned, when you first take these bands out of the box, they're gorgeous. We bought two, the black one and the Tuscan brown one.Over time though, you realize that there is NOTHING premium about this leather. It does not soften with time or patina gracefully. The leather on the black band developed an air bubble in the middle of the band 😳 and the Tuscan brown one lost both of it's retaining loops (where you tuck away the extra leather band).The buckles/clasps on these are also low quality, the kind you see on sale in bulk for less than $2 per clasp. There's nothing handmade about these bands, and they come from China. Long story short, you can easily find bands similar to these in quality for less than $30.I disagree with the reviewer who said that these are better quality than Apple's leather bands. Sure, Apple's bands cost more, but they've lasted me 4-5 times as long as these cheapo bands and only cost ~$50 more.

After reading a couple of the negative reviews of this band, I was a little concerned that I may have squandered my money. I am pleased to report that I am quite impressed with the quality versus price for this watchband. Esthetically it is gorgeous and appears to be well made. I have the Hermes Series 2 with deployment buckle, and although the accompanying Hermes band is certainly well made and gorgeous as well, replacement cost for it is ridiculous and I wanted one or more after market bands I could swap out occasionally with the OEM band so it doesn't wear out too quickly. I believe these band fit the bill nicely, and I highly recommend them and plan to get a couple more in different colors.
