Works great with everything you need but the co2 tank. Great way to save on co2 costs

Works Perfectly with Sodastream Art
I bought this adapter kit as well as a 15 lb CO2 cylinder for use with a Sodastream Art. The kit works perfectly with nothing more than some Teflon tape wrapped around the threads of the cylinder's male connector and the addition of CO2 to the empty cylinder (courtesy of my local Airgas). Have encountered no leaks or other problems. Find the ball cock valve very handy. Wish I had made this change months ago, but it's better late than never.

Only way to get a good valve for a bulk adapter
I asked for a bulk tank adapter from another vendor for Christmas. That vendor's included valve was a bit "feisty" compared to a genuine tank - It required a lot of pressure from a Drinkmate to open the valve, and once it flowed, it flowed WAY too much CO2.I ordered this and screwed in the valve from my Drinkmate's included CO2 canister, then connected the remainder of my existing bulk tank adapter's setup to this. The quick-connect fittings are fully compatible, and now my bulk tank setup behaves just like an original Drinkmate canister. The only challenge was getting the valve assembly off of the old Drinkmate canister - but that is not this vendor's problem. (For others: A Harbor Freight strap wrench is your friend for holding the main canister body!)

Fizz for years!
I got frustrated after the second time I had an exchange SodaStream CO2 canister from Target that was effectively empty, despite having a fresh shrinkwrap seal. With this and a 25 lb. tank I should have fizz for a year, and no longer have to buy expensive, small, heavy cylinders that have been shipped across the ocean and back to be refilled.I may be paranoid but I do worry about the volume of CO2 in a large tank and the risk of leaks or rupture from both kits like these and the plasticky internals of the SodaStream. There's a huge expansion ratio and a 25 lb. tank can displace a lot of oxygen in the event of a large leak. This is probably more of a concern if you have pets or small kids living closer to the floor, where the gas will settle. Because of this concern I simply turn the CO2 tank valve off after I'm done carbonating (as the instructions advise you to do anyway).

Works great! Reassuring ball valave and convienient pressure gauge.
Works great with my SodaStream E-Terra. Picked up a 15lb tank for $50 from a local home brewer and attached this to it, it's been great. Now for the same price as one of those little 14.5oz tanks from SodaStream I can get 15lbs. That reduces the price from $1.03/oz to only 6.25ยข/oz.
