Great exercise that can be played in a somewhat small place for older kids.
Baitaihem Kick Shuttlecock Chinese Jianzi Colorful Feather Foot Sports Outdoor Game (Style-B, 6 Pack): I saw it on Tik Tok (Jianzi) and decided to try it out. It is kind of a hacky sack, but the feathers slow it down and it always comes down on the head part. You do need to wear shoes. It will wear you out fast. Kids enjoy it but it really is for ages 10+ and will take some skills but even just trying to return it a few times works. Feathers can come out, but you can push them back into it. There are 6 which are good as these will wear out fairly quickly, but price is pretty low, great for trying out.

Just like the ones they use in China
We traveled to China a couple years ago and saw people at city parks playing with these just like hackey sacks. We bought a couple there, but due to the nature of their construction (they are, after all, made of feathers) they eventually broke. These are just like the ones we bought in China, and even have Mandarin characters on the little aluminum disks. They make a satisfying clinky jingle when hit. Generally I know people consider "made in China" to be a bad thing, but in this case I think it makes them more authentic. A fun and unique toy.

Metal piece in the base can hurt
I appreciate that I can find similar products on Amazon, there aren’t many options though. My daughter loved it. I had played way better ones, so I know the metal pieces in the base is a bad design. Depends on where it lands on your foot or which part of your foot is kicking it, it can hurt. I’m returning it and give another option who says they have soft base a try. Overall, it’s affordable, not too bad. I will give it a 4 or 5 stars if the base did not hurt.

Unacceptably poor quality
All six shuttlecocks in the pack fell apart in a matter of six days, with the average lifespan being about two days each (and this is using a normal amount of force while kicking). The shuttlecocks’ bases are made with the tops of cans in an unreliable rubber holder, and the feathers are held together only by weak glue. Such a subpar product is hardly worth the money - in any case, each shuttlecock is definitely not worth $2. Exceedingly disappointing!

Fun way to exercise
These are great! We use them with Tennis Rackets. It is really great to get your heart rate going. It is invigorating to do after dinner, instead of the same long, boring walk. Google "Dr. Ben Kim, Shuttle Cock" and you will find a video showing how its done. This develops Reaction Time, Agility, Balance, and Hand-Eye Coordination. People will exercise more, when its fun. It is great for a wide age span. I know some in their upper 60's who have a great time with them.
