The hold is nice, it’s not super sticky or hard to apply, seems to keep the hold, very light scent if any. Doesn’t get flaky either. Mild shine, but I probably use a little less in my hair than the directions say to use. I’ve tried several popular brands on Amazon, and this is one of my favorites!

Good pomade for the price. Good shine, hold is very strong. A little definitely goes a long way.

I stumbled upon Cremo while at the store searching for yet another hair product. (You may know the drill, new haircut, new product. What do I use? Nope, that product or that brand doesn't work . . .) In my humble opinion, Cremo IS barbershop quality. In our house, we use the Shine Pomade and Forming Cream. Both of them are fantastic at their job.This Shine Pomade is easy to use. It holds hair in place throughout the entire day without looking or feeling "crunchy". The men in the house like to rinse it out once they are home for the night. They just stick their head under the faucet and out it goes. Easy in, easy out, long-lasting product.

I have very stubborn straight hair and this is the only product that gives me a fighting chance of styling it. I highly recommend this over all others.

I love Cremo products and use their shave cream, after-shave balm, and colognes. So, I thought I'd give this a try. To start, one review said in "smells clean", and that's how I'd describe their shave cream scent and love it, so I figured this would be somewhat similar -- it's not. To me, this has a very old-school hair style cream scent -- you know, rather medicinal sort of like Alberto V05. The other issue is a few hours after application, the shine seems to disappear unevenly in areas of your hair. To end on a positive, it does great at holding your hair in place all day. Kind of disappointed as I had such high expectations for a Cremo product.
