Not quite what I expected, but still interesting

A New Age publication purporting to be real science.
When I read the review of this book, I thought I was getting something that was scientific in nature, as opposed to most of the other books in the field of studying the effect of colours on people, which seem to be from the New Age, airy fairy relativistic "science" camp.I was very disappointed when reading through it - lots of references to Chakras, Chi, Life Force, Kirilian Photography, octaves of energy, Prana, telepathy, clairvoyance, curing disease by channelling coloured light, Eastern philosophy, Individual spiral, higher self, spirit guides, even the now discredited Haeckel's Embryonic Recapitulation (search for "haeckels embryos fake"), natal astrology.... dare I go on?I feel the title in itself is one giant con as there is the tiniest possible amount of real science in this book. It mentions the words "quantum physics", as do a lot of New Age advertisments, and as the "master" of quantum physics, Paul Dirac, once said "If you think you understand quantum physics, you don't understand quantum physics".Please, if you're looking for something that is scientific in nature, avoid this book.My copy - well, it'll keep me warm now that Winter's here, as will logs I've chopped for the season.

Intringuingly Eye-Opening
A beautiful introduction to the subject of Colorology. Scientific explanations are easy to understand, but for those with an already scientific mind, I recommend reading with an open mind. A very enlightening reading: I read it from front to back in a single day. My only complaint is that I used better grammar in high school reports. I plan to utilize much of the information provided in this book, as well as continue research using the interesting list of references.
