Simple to set up. Works well.
It’s easy to assemble, and an air stone provides a simple way to provide circulation. You still need to vacuum the bottom occasionally.

Pieces fit together like wonky Legos, I think I used 8 pieces and had two left over. I’ve tried a few different under gravel filters over the years and I think this might be the best. Good coverage and supported the gravel.

Very Modular
I like these UG filter plates as they are fairly small and allow you to put them together to fit most any aquarium. Being difficult to find filter plates for small aquariums, this is the answer. Note that the uplift tubes are available, though a bit pricey, and can be ordered to utilize with any plates that may be left over.
