Made of poor quality materials.
The riveter is made of softer metal than the chain link. The riveter tip conformed to the chain link and did not flare the link as intended. The threads on the press stripped while tightening by hand under load. The tool is advertised for chain size up to 630. It did not fit a 525 chain. I do not recommend this item.

Don’t waste your time
Literally came out the box broken. Did not work at all. Bought the RK racing one and never looked back.

Poor design. Pin alignment may be a safety issue when breaking a chain.
Pretty useless at breaking a chain. Tried on a 50 series. For 1, the pin guide will only allow the smallest pin through. Had to remove for the next size up. That one is not true in the shaft causing it to move off center when engaging the chain pin, forcing the chain out of the press. The pin guide and bolt have a poor interference, causing the pin guide to tilt when nipped up. The bolt and press frame have poor thread interference, amplifying the chain pin engagement issue. I don't think this could be useful for even a bicycle chain.
