This is a rather intelligent and very useful item..... I use it in conjunction with a Volvo XC70 that is not driven a lot but when I do it is long trips of multiple hundreds of miles and not only along the motorway. Intelligent people have told me ( :-) ) that I should always keep check of the tyre pressure in terms of road handling (and safety) and fuel economy and in the past I had some tyres which were slowly deflating.This tool is first of all very easy to read but goes one better by offering the opportunity to measure the tyre tread depth which is great. Only problem is that it should have had a bigger surface (or a base) to balance the gauge correctly on to the tyre as obviously a slight deviation would give one a completely different reading but that might be my expectation to have the perfect toolAdded bonus of being able to smash the window when in an emergency situation is an added bonus and this tool comes highly recommended. Keeping the tyres at the right pressure will probably save a lot in fuel economy and make the tyres last so I would not be surprised if this tool would pay for itself as such !

Press the "ON" button for 2 seconds and select the unit you want.3. Complete the above Settings, hold gauge on valve stem for 2 seconds then remove the gauge from the valve stem.4. When the measurement finished, the value reading on the screen will be lasting 15 seconds, then the device will turn off automatically.Digital tread depth gauge1. Press the button "ON" to Power gauge on, and it displays 0.0 PSI2. Press the button "ON" for short time, and it will switch to tread depth gauge mode.3. Press the button "ON" for a long time until it flashed, release the button, then, re-press the button "On" for short time to switch different unit for depth.4. Push probe into tire groove and make gauge tightly close to the outer covering of tire.5. Take away the gauge, LCD will display the depth of tire grooves, also with danger alarm.Automatic Safety Hammer1. Remove the cover and aim the shot at the edge of the glass.2. Make sure the force direction is perpendicular to the glass surface.3. The pin will automatically pull the back position after the broken glass, and no power help will be required.4. works well, at least in the tyre pressure and tread depth modes; so far I've resisted trying the window breaking tool ;)very pleased. Fantastic piece of kit no problems at all doing 36 PSI on my 3008 and it's got lamps and warning lights as well.would advise anyone to purchase one.
