Mozaic Futon Mattress, Full, Black

This was better than the old thin one that I had. However, I wish I would have ordered the next thickness up. I put this one over the old one to add to the thickness and that was doable. It is used for a guest bed, all guests say it is not firm enough - especially with 2 people. I put a piece of plywood in between the two mattresses and this improved it immensely.This does come tightly rolled up but it does “blow up” after laying it flat for a day, like other reviews say.And it does have an odor that really is only “hidden” with a plastic mattress cover and a regular mattress cover.Since no one in my area sold these, I’m glad I have this one and it is too large to return I suppose, but I would suggest shopping the stores, if possible.

First let me say the mattress packaging was very good. The mattress itself seems very very comfy and we just laid it out, it hasn't even had an hour to puff up. Best futon mattress I have ever laid on. Have no clue how long it will hold up this way since it only just arrived. The mattress has a removable cover so you can launder it, but the inner materials could easily be pulled apart (on quick inspection) so use caution when removing and putting it back on. My cats would have a field day shredding it ;) The mattress was very linty, not sure if that happened in warehouse, or in packing. I used a lint brush for now, but will be washing it asap. Overall, I love it, so far ;)Just an update: This mattress is holding up exceptionally well. Still feels like a real bed, not a futon!

I am very pleased with this mattress. I am currently staying with family and have to sleep on this futon while my home is being built. They had a 4 inch futon mattress which was very uncomfortable. So, I purchased this and it has made a world of difference in my sleeping. I also read in some other review that it did have a smell to it but from day one I did not experience anything. The one thing is that we use it also to sit on and have found that we do have to flip it around at least once a week to keep it in shape but this also has to be done with a regular mattress. I am very please with this futon mattress and highly recommend it.

This Mattress is a good mattress for a futon that is not going to get a lot of use. However if you plan to use the futon for every day use or more than just for random company I would suggest getting something a bit thicker or maybe even with a different fill. We have this on our futon that is used almost every day in our play room for naps or for sitting on when playing video games or watching tv. The mattress is about 2 years old now and after just a couple months you could start to feel the slats under the mattress through the mattress when you slept on it. Now just a few months ago it has started to rip out at the seam. I think this would be great for a spare room or something but not for every day use.

It’s not very comfy if you want to sleep on it. But for sitting purposes sure!

First, it is pretty bulky and heavy. Need two people to put this on the futon. And because it is 10 inches it makes it more difficult to fold a seam in it so that it sits up into a couch position. It is pretty comfy and strong. People fall asleep on it and haven't complained. I think it works well.

Best sleep ever! When I bought this mattress I never expected it to be so comfortable. My husband and I have been sleeping on it for more than a year and it is still just as nice and firm (but not too firm) as the day we got it. It is very comfortable and easy to move around. Also easy to clean.We moved it it several times, folded it, and shifted it around yet it retains its shape and firmness.For the past year or so we have has it on a wood frame with no boxspring and it is still super comfortable. It definitely holds its own.Best $250 I have spent. And I got it with my Prime membership which was completely awesome! No shipping and super cheap 3 day shipping!

This is a very thick and comfortable mattress. It's heavy so when you pick a place for it, it should stay there...very hard to move around. That's not a bad thing though, it's well made and the heft is the good quality of the piece. We also bought the wood frame to put it on. The only issue is this, the 10" mattress is so thick that it doesn't fold well. For me, that isn't a problem. We leave the wood frame flat and just lounge on it that way. If you're planning on using it in couch position, get a thinner mattress. The bulk of the 10" doesn't work. Very comfortable as a bed...as a couch, too thick...but I love it and we keep it flat.
