ScarpaMen's Ranger

I bought my first pair what I thought were 1/2 larger than my usual size, but for whatever reason Scarpa boots seem to go from 9.5 -10.5 so a 10 turned out to be 10.5 which felt way too big. I returned and got a refund straight away, but then I decided to try the 9.5 which turn out to be the perfect size. Quality of these boots is amazing and I’m sure they will last me many years. Very happy with purchase.

Very comfortable straight from the box, sturdy without being cumbersome, very good grip and waterproof. Some reviewers seem not to like the round laces, but I do - they slide through the eyelets well and so are easy to pull tight. I just put a double bow in and they stay done up! All-in-all a fantastic pair of boots.

Good support able to wear straight out of the box excellent walking boots.

I had Scarpa boots for twelve years and the sole came off. I’d done a lot of walking in them over this period so thought i’d stick with what I knew.These grip well and feel so solid. The only reason I dropped a star is on every walk i’ve been on i’ve had to empty them of stones/mud. There must be something about the way they grip that stones and bits end up going down the top. Still love them though and they look great and seem like they will last a long time.

Whilst in an outdoor clothing shop looking at serious walking boots, a man came in the shop, picked up a pair of Scarpa, looked at me and said "if you are looking for quality walking boots, look no further!" The man had come to replace his Scarpa Ranger that he claimed to have worn nearly every day for 24years, working and walking. You cant get a better recommendation than that so I bought a pair. So far I am very happy with these boots, they are comfortable and for the extent of robustness surprisingly light. Not yet attempted a long walk but I am sure they will perform.

These boots were delivered promptly and felt comfortable when first tried on. I have done two short walks in them so far and they have proved comfortable in use and waterproof when walking in very wet grass. Ordered half a size up from normal shoe size and comfortable with thick socks. Time will tell on how they continue to perform but a good start.

Super fast delivery by LD Mountain Centre. Very comfortable straight out of box. Size UK 10/10.5 slightly larger than I expected, but better that than small. Too early to review longevity but feet are dry and blister free.
