Did the job - soffit vents into my garage space attic
After our remodel of our garage where we finished it off and added a ceiling, I realized we didn't have vents on the lower portion of the roof to help bring in cool air and vent out the hot from the roof vents. Found these vents, bought the diablo 3" hole saw and attachments (because this was the only hole saw i found that could go through a 2"x6"), and pretty simple to drill the hole, move insulation out of the way, and now I have vents.

Look nice and easy to install
Prior to installing these in the holes, add a bead of siding and trim caulking. As the pilot hole shrinks over time the caulking we'll keep the vent in place and maintain a good perimeter seal. If you can paint before installation, they do look nice with factory paint.

Well made with good, heavy screen.
Good quality overall. Heavy duty screening should last a long time. Size appears to be accurate (although tight fit with Amazon's 75 mm hole saw which is actually ever so slightly under 3"). Still sturdy enough to be hammered into those sized holes. So good I bought 4 more for additional ventilation.
