Ludicrous Security
This hardware wallet is the pinnacle of self custody crypto security. Itâs 100% air-gapped and relies solely displaying and reading QR codes to sign transactions. The large color touchscreen is a huge improvement over my ledger nano I upgraded from. The GRAPHENE âPerfect Keyâ is simple, elegant and yet insane in its security, recovery is possible only with both plates made of stainless steel plates that you store in different locations, both plates are needed to decipher the 64 character hexadecimal wallet key (THATS 15^64!! Possible key combinations). The device is heavy due to its metal tamper proof casing and if the device is somehow opened sensors in the wallet wipe the device. The ZEROâs battery capacity is definitely on the small size as it drains rather quickly, but being a cold wallet I use it primarily for deposits into long term storage this isnât an issue for me, but something you might wish to be aware of or if your use case is different. If youâre storing large amounts of crypto, or just security paranoid I canât recommend this wallet enough.
