If you dont have a way to lift the vehicle, its not gonna happen (obviously).
Being my truck already has a 7" lift, i ordered new struts, uca's and the add a leaf kit to take her to 9"This was a simple task (on paper) but it ended up taking much of my day.Be sure you have adequate jack stands that will hold your truck up, from the middle of the frame. These need to be large jack stands(2), not normal truck ones (if you are already lifted like i am. And it helps to have 2 jacks to maneuver the rear end when its detached. Also a good impact gun will save your life removing those ubolts. Pro-Tip get some penetrating oil and shoot them the day before you attempt to remove and re-install. Other than the obvious figuring out how to do it pitfalls, it was pretty simple task, just full of crap to do to get them on. make sure you have at least 8" C Clamps to release the leaf energy when taking them apart. Hindsight, i'd take the truck to a shop and have them put them on. They have a lift and the tools. i'm a 30 year old male that works out 5x a week. It kicked my butt.
