Average...
Novalogic have created a very entertaining series however up until recently they had a reluctance to listen to their fans. Long before BHD's release the community was putting together a wishlist of ideas and this game catered for many of them and was an improvement in the Delta Force series. It has great graphics, a good weapon balance, grass etc however it still lacked in many areas. It is still very buggy despite all the updates, the single player missions still aren't dynamic and the AI is as dreadful as always. The single player missions are much more interesting than previous games but still doesn't feel as immersive as RTCW/MOHAA and so on.The cheater problem has been fought and they're doing a good job this time around which is a credit to Novalogic. Hopefully, the next game in the series will be match all our expectations.

Didn’t get it to work on my PC. But have played before and the expansion pack to it!

Good stuff
I like the game, I didn't try all the feature, it seems lacking a cooperative multiplayer section, where two connected via LAN can play against AI.

The worst FPS I played in years.
Now I understand why this piece of refuse was in the bargain-basement bin. Even on a 3 for £10 this game is over priced!Earnestly I urge all 1st person shooter fans to avoid this like the plague! The only positive thing I can say about this game is that for its era the visuals are quite nice......When it comes to game play things take a turn for the unplayable! I played for around 15 minutes before erasing this atrocity from my hard drive forever! Most enemies are harmless and can't seem to hit you even when you stand right in front of them yet randomly every so often an unseen foe will get a lucky head shot that takes you out. not so bad except that you are limited to 2 saves per mission forcing you to repeat objectives ad nauseum.Add in some lazy baby-sitting and turret style missions and sequences that would look dated in a 1980s arcade machine and one can soon see that this is just a cynical cash-in on a hit movie and the suffering of hundreds of thousands of starving Africans.Thank goodness its contemporaries (like medal of honour) were much better titles!Go rent the movie instead, at least that was entertaining!

Well what can i say!!
Well well well, i don't know how many of you reading this have played any other of the delta force games in the past but they have been totally dire to say the least, but i had high hopes of this game from the moment i saw some of the screen shots. So now on to how good or bad the game is, well its good deffently worth spending your hard earned cash on, the game has some impressive graphics and some very tense fire fights as well as a good feature which is limited saves which you have to use wisely so you don't run out, also the way helicopters flying around and help ya out is a nice feature.......but it does have down falls like no interaction with any team mates or a story line, it losely follows what happened in the real conflict in somolia. Another bad part is you just walk around blasting bad guys and these don't seem to have any AI whats so ever that i noticed, they can be ruthless at times but not to much of a challenge bar theres a few million of them on every level which proves a challenge sometimes and some fun at times. To sum it all up, as i said it is worth buying your money on but don't think you will be playing it once you have completed it, some nice game features and lots of weapons to play with and lots of good firefights, but can get boring and repetive and lack of interaction really lets the game down. Go and get it all the same, multiplayer it isn't bad at all some fun features.

Superb! The best yet
Well i have always been a fan of the DF series. But the last one wasnt a real improvment. However this has changed DFBHD is superb. If you have a high spec machine it plays and looks wonderful. The realsim is there as well, while still retaining an arcade feel. Buy it now! You wont be disappointed.

Love the movie,love this
If the film rocked your world and your still hankerin to halt the genocide in Somalia then you must buy this game. The weopons are varied and the missions are tres cool.I love it, foinstants one mission when you climb into a blackhawk and the pilot lifts off, turns and shouts "man the mini gun" you know your in for some wicked skinny bashin.Play it on operative setting safe in the knowledge that for this price you cant go wrong.
