Zoughari Sensei is one of the most highly credited Ninja Master in the world and in this book he discloses his good knowledge of History and Practice of Ninjutsu.

An excellent book
Dr. Zoughari's book is a fantastic read (although maybe not the easiest). If you are expecting an in-depth look at any particular ryu then this is not the book for you. Instead Dr. Zoughari puts the 'origins' of ninja (a hard thing to be able to discern) and looking at how the history is written. This is no easy feat as little survives to this day and little has been written as Ninjutsu was practiced in the mountains secretly for over a thousand years, any 'public' record of the ninja is more myth and legend. However Dr. Zoughari does adress the issue of the public record in his book, looking at what we can learn from the little bits and pieces they are. I will not say more to spoil the book.I would not suggest this for a first read on the subject, but for anyone who has done a little bit of reading in the area before and wants to learn more then I do recommend this book highly,
