My husband's climbing shoes were baaaaaaaaad. As in so bad they were banished from the house bad. Even the kids complainedThe bananas take a few days to reach peak effect and do have quite a strong smell but quite frankly I would rather smell the bananas than the shoes of death.And the shoes are no longer relegated to the garden shed

My son's rugby boots were just awful. They smelt like a whole gang of tom cats had sprayed on them. Even moving them from the house to the shed was no good. I thought I'd have to burn them, bury them and STILL have to move house to escape the smell.I ordered these as last resort and I was utterly astonished how quickly they worked. The scent is a little over powering but I'd rather have that than apologizing because my house smelt like an incontinent cats litter tray. I will be recommending them to all the parents at the rugby club who find themselves in a similar situation. If only they could make something that would get rid of the smell of a teenagers bedroom .... 😉

Really liked these when first started using them for my trainers. Loved the scent of them. Used on and off for a month. However last week when I left them to dry overnight, they turned mouldy :( bit disappointing because the average life is started to be 6-12 months?Unfortunately won’t be re-purchasing

Shocked and amazed all at once at how well these work! I thought my fleece-lined slippers were for the bin (worn without socks, so you can imagine they get a bit whiffy) and now they are miraculously fresh. I don't even have to use the bananas every day....they seem to remove odours rather than masking them. Essential oils leave a pleasant fragrance and the quirky banana shape is a bit of a talking point with friends. Will be buying again for hiking boots.

I purchased these for my husbands stinky trainers and ... they work! I was a bit pensive as it was an expensive option but I can safely say 2 months in that they were worth every penny. The aroma was a little strong for the first couple of weeks but now it is just doing its thing in the trainers themselves.

I brought these for my climbing shoes and they leave them smelling lovely and also help to hold their shape. I have also seen that there are larger ones that act as moisture absorbers so will be getting them for my walking boots.

Being cursed with sweaty feet I bought these for my climbing shoes (just about the only thing I wear barefoot) & what a revelation, these things keep the stink at bay - my shoes smell better than new!Not had long enough to test longevity yet, but fantastic so far.

I put them in my old stinky squash shoes and was amazed by the scent 24 hrs later. Ok, leave them out for another 24hrs and you know they're only masking the smell, but used regularly (and only once the shoes are dry), they work better than sprays for my money
