Certified rubbish
Arrived and works for a week or two then started not responding intermittently and now doesn't work at all and Amazon will not accept the return. BUYERS BEWARE!

Excellent Quality
I was pleasantly surprised by the Certified Refurbished Echo Show 5 (3rd Gen, 2023). For a refurbished product, it arrived in mint condition—the packaging looked brand new, and the device itself had no signs of previous use. The sound quality is impressive for its size, clear and full, making it great for music and video calls. The only hiccup was setting it up with our Ring Doorbell; it was a bit more complex than the standard Echo setup instructions suggested, but once configured, everything worked smoothly. Overall, an incredible value for the price!

Good Gadget
This is a great gadget once it gets started, it seems very slow to start up plays a good music list not used it to watch anything yet, but value for money.

What a bargain
After reading some poor reviews on this although keeping an open mind I did have a few reservations but these soon disappeared once it was up and running which was just a few seconds as it linked to my account and hey presto all was done .The sound quality is nothing short of amazing from this little beauty , as stated the set up took minutes to complex and this is now my 3rd but the lates model at this knock down priceRefurbished but it’s mint and well ,new I’m pleased about everything and the quality of the picture is stunning . I have placed this one by my bedside it makes a pleasant alarm clock but with all the convenience of everything a mere direction away .From setting the alarm to hear if someone is at my front door .. ask any question. All the things I have come to love about this system .The weight of this really is testament to just how sturdy this is .Great buy and I may even get another

Refurbished echo
Okay this was a refurbished echo. Came in an Amazon package box... Inside was a blue Amazon box still sealed. Took the echo out of the box, plugged it in with the plug provided, didn't bother reading the instructions... And boom it came on... Now I must say that the echo had a protective thing over in the box, again seal not broken. No marks or blemishes on the unit. It looked brand new... I'd even go as far as to say it was brand new. The only issue I had was.... The label on the box was french... I turned on the echo and it was all french... I had to keep taking pictures and Google lens translate to understand the instructions on screen... And may I point out that this was even after I had selected English as the language and Alexa even put my location and address on the screen... Anyway... Small obstacle... Thank you Google .... When eventually finished translating... And finished set up... It so far appears to doing everything in English... Not tried the camera yet, but the sound is fine, the mic works when you give the... Alexa play my playlist etc.... so... Even though it's french... I think it's brand new and not refurbished and seems to working as it should be doing 👌

Faulty product
Thought this would be a great deal at a fraction of the price of a new device. Cosmetic condition of product was ‘as new’ however upon turning it on, wouldn’t connect to WiFi then when I bypassed that none of the device settings would save or update. Reached out to customer service who couldn’t help. Sadly had to return

Easy Set Up
Easy to set up, when you opt for the unit to be registered on your Amazon Account.Plug in and follow the options on the screen and away you go.The sound is good, the response is good, happy to recommend this item, even though it is a "Recertified Item", as far as I'm concerned it is as good as new.
