BlanQuil Quilted Weighted Blanket (Grey 20lb) W/Removable Cover, 48x72, Grey-20lb

I have had my blanquil for about 4 weeks now. I was aware of good reviews but have become disappointed after testing it for a couple of uses. I must comment here how shocked I was at the weight. This thing is HEAVY. Even if I liked this product, I would order the 15 lb version. It is also very cumbersome when adjusting the blanquil around yourself. My original intention was to use this as a throw for my favorite oversized chair and ottoman...but that failed because all of the beads(?? or weights) fall straight down toward the floor, so all that remains to keep me warm was basically the cover. I can't believe that the manufacturer did not attempt to distribute the weights somehow. Image putting popcorn kernels in a fabric large sack, and then expecting the sack to keep you warm. It won't work.So then I tried to use it in my bed. The problem with that is that it is not the right size for a bed cover, it is mostly geared for use as a throw. I tried it anyway and you guessed it --all the beads ran off the center of my body and onto either side of my body. All that was left to cover me again was the fabric cover. As I repositioned through the night, I had to become literally wake up to readjust the blanket as it is so heavy that you lift it evenly with just a leg.Overall, I would not recommend this product. The only reason that I gave it 1 star is because the fabric cover is a good quality fabric.

This blanket absolutely does not distribute the weight evenly. I bought this item for my son for Christmas. The material inside only stays at one side no matter what I tried to do to keep moving it around. It did not help my son sleep better at all as it would only be weighed in one area. The cover does not come off to wash. This blanket has been sitting in a ball on the floor in my son's room bc Blanquil WILL NOT refund me and Amazon has denied me as well. I'm extremely disappointed and unhappy bc I purchase so much from Amazon. This blanket does not stay weighted evenly and I just purchased (from Amazon again) a different blanket which is so much better for half the cost. This was a complete waste of money and time!!! There are better products out there!!! Amazon should be concerned with keeping customers happy. I never had a problem with any other amazon purchase and have never wrote a review until today. It's unfortunate that this product did not help my son and I can't get my money back.UPDATE:After speaking with another Amazon representative they were kind enough to refund me about 75% of what I paid for Blanquil. It was agreed that Blanquil did not even give me a chance to return the item within 90 days. There was no further contact with Blanquil once they refused my refund. Amazon did the right thing and listened to me about the product and my complete disappointment. Blanquil DID NOT even give me the chance. I am happy with the outcome as all I wanted was to be able to speak with someone about how Blanquil is a product that is not advertised correctly. I am very happy with my Amazon purchase of Cuddlebug weighted blanket!!

Was looking to buy the Gravity Blanket because I saw it on Facebook & KickStarter. I read their reviews and most were bad (some downright awful) - then one said “buy the BlanQuil because it’s cheaper and just as good.” I hadn’t heard of BlanQuil before, so I did an Amazon search and saw it was essentially the same description and less money. Bought it for my wife and she absolutely loves it!!! She falls alseep right away (which was an issue) and stays sleeping most of the night. Thank you BlanQuil - promote this better for others to see!

It usually takes me 30 minutes to fall sleep, but I put the blanket on and I feel safe and relaxed, I don't know when I fall asleep, maybe in 5 or 10 minutes. It makes me sleep like a baby.If you have insomnia or anxiety, I highly recommend this blanket.

No, seriously the cover is so soft! If you never pet a bunny before you’ll know what it feels like after you buy this blanket! Now, first impressions. It’s soft of course, but it wasn’t quite what I expected. The Squares of the blanket are not tightly packed with the beads, there is cotton like substance in each square along with the beads making it feel comfy but if you are going to be wrapping up in the blanket over your shoulders the beads are all going to fall to the bottom of each square, making it feel alittle lumpy. This blanket is definitely suitable for just laying down with it or having it wrapped around the bottom half of you while your just sitting.Also, I expected to feel more weight ontop of me, and I only really notice the weight when I try to roll over or reposition in anyway. Don’t get me wrong this blanket is HEAVY! It’s super comfy and relaxing! I don’t know if it’s a mental thing or whatever but I do feel more relaxed when I am underneath this blanket! I’ve only had it for one night and I could feel some difference right away.If you are claustrophobic though I don’t think this blanket is for you. Like I said before it is VERY HEAVY and you may feel “trapped” under its weight if you move a lot while laying down.All things considered I don’t regret my purchase. As a lover of blankets, I give this one an A++I might update more info the longer I have this, I mean I’ve only have had it one night,but first impressions do matter and Blanquil passed!!

Best nights sleep I have ever gotten. I am a very light sleeper and tend to toss and turn all night. I have had sleep anxiety since I was a child due to nightmares. This was a great investment for me. I sleep great! The blanket is very high quality and so soft! You can also remove the cover to making washing easy! Absolutely would recommend this product to anybody!

I have been reading about these weighted blankets and thought I would try. I've heard they were hard to get and expensive. I have anxiety and get a little stressed. The BlanQuil delivered within a week and I couldn't wait to try it. After a week I am in "Love" with this product. I bought grey and the 20lbs is perfect to keep me snug. What is most amazing is it works. I feel completely relaxed while laying down watching TV I even use it to Sleep. I would highly recommend this to anyone considering a Weighted Blanket.
