I actually only purchased this set for the cable. I searched everywhere for an Apple branded charging cable that was longer than 1 metre, but to no avail. This braided cable is excellent quality, and at 2 metres in length, is much more useful. I use it to charge my iPod Video. The charger works very well, but I do use an Anker charger with my iPod, and keep this one for charging lower value electronics - just in case...

The dual purpose of this charger is a great help as is the long lead that accompanies it. I have just started using this item and am so far very pleased with its functionality .

Great product

Charged IPad 2 in usual time, no excess heat in charger. Cable is good length and flexible. Outer sheath of cable is flexible woven material, time will tell wether this pulls out of plugs.

Really disappointed by this product had 6 weeks and my wife unplugged from socketplug fell apart and she received a shock in the process. Lucky not serious !

Company replaced the cable unprompted, after I left a negative review about the original cable breaking after 8 months of gentle use. While I'd rather not had it break in the first place, the customer service as a result has been very good.

So far very impressed with this charger. Has plenty of cable too which is very handy.
