Great Value for Price
A good Kershaw or Benchmade has always been on my list - growing up in the PNW these names are synonymous with quality pocket knives out of Portland.I picked up this knife on the Spring Deal, just over $20. The assisted opening is very easy to control and use, the knife looks amazing, a sleek design open or closed, and a beautifully simple clip. This one did come with a slightly loose clip, I tightened it down (can also be flipped) and am very pleased. Factory sharpness is good.Blade itself is chinese 8Cr13MoV, from what I've read it's fine as a "don't care if I lose it" knife blade. Gets the job done and a great price for a name you can trust.I would not compare this to any Benchmade or US-MADE Kershaw, but it's a great pickup for an EDC that you won't feel bad about losing. It's on the larger size, so ensure you have deep pockets for it to fit well and not disrupt of you bend over with it in pocket.I'm happy. I spent $200 on a Benchmade Osborne, this is a good alternative if I think I'm going to potentially lose the Benchmade. Perfect for fishing on the boat.

Great knife for large hands and everyday carry
I bought this to replace a smaller 3.25" everyday carry. I found myself wanting a larger knife on several occasions, mostly for comfort and 3.7" seems to be my sweet spot. I have large size hands and I love how this knife feels in them, it's comfortable and has a very nice solid feel with a non slippery matte finish that doesn't show fingerprints. The finger guard is the same point where you flick it to open the blade and it stands out nice to prevent finger slippage onto the blade and I think it was well designed. The clip is well made and doesn't scratch my hands when I reach into my pocket. I've been carrying and using Kershaw knives for many years, they're great for everyday use and very affordable. I've spent $300+ on other knives and it's always a gut punch when I lose one, so for this price, I can lose it and order another without it being such a big deal. I also really like the shape of the blade, it's similar to the Kershaw Leek design and I've always been a fan. I can recommend this knife based on my previous years with Kershaw knives, this one is still pretty new and time will tell how it holds up but it should last many many years.

Great knife at a bargain price
I own a few Kershaw knives and have been pleased with the quality of their products. The Cryo 2 is one of my frequent edc carries and I think it is a high quality knfe for the price. I rate the Grid 2200 as being as good a knife as the Cryo 2 The Grid 2200 is a very good knife and here are its pluses:- very sharp out of the box- blade is centered and has no play- it is relatively thin and light for such a large folder- opening is smooth and strong- left/right clip option (I know some have complained about there not being clip hole drilled for left side carry, but maybe those were early productions)- a nice looking knife- very good knife for the priceI do wish it had a lanyard hole, but I can live without it. I find metal frames are too slippery for secure pocket retrieval and handing. I remedy this by using GT-5000 friction tape on the handles. I first did this on my early edition Spyderco Police model years ago. It has worked well on all knives I have felt needed it.For the people complaining about lost/loose screws, good knife maintenance includes regular inspection of the screws and using Loctite blue on those that repeatedly come loose.

A really decent everyday knife
I love this knife. Had it for two years. And I’ve put it through a gauntlet. Still going strong. Not a perfect knife. But for the price it’s great. I’ve used it for whittling, I’ve used it on HVAC jobs, cutting through tape, insulation, rubber and all manner of materials. I always carry it with me no matter where I go. It’s not the best knife in the world. It’s not the most famous knife in the world. The handle’s smoothness lacks the grip one might often want. But as far as a general edc goes, I’ve really enjoyed the knife and it’s got a special place in my heart. Also… Many many many cardboard boxes have been felled.

Stand out blade
So I'm no knife nerd, don't care about technical specs too much. I really like this knife because it's not too big, not too small, sits deep in the pocket, isn't super heavy or overt but is very sturdy and serrations + smooth is always a feature I've appricated. Feels good in the hand and 0 blade wobble, the only gripe I have is it's a VERY smooth handle, esthetically I get it but functionally I'd gladly take the sacrifice of looks to have some degree of gripping texture to make it a little more usable. Luckily it's a very easy fix/addition that can be added cheap and relatively easily. It's the knife I choose to EDC out if the 1000's of there options here on Amazon. Worthy for the price.

Be careful! SHARP
This is the best knife I have owned in years. It gets supper sharp and holds its edge very well. The quick opening feature is handy when you only have one hand free.

Excellent Quality
This arrives from the factory with a great edge on the knife. The handle is nothing fancy, but that's what I wanted as a replacement for a similar model that recently disappeared. I carry this knife in one of my pockets, so I didn't need the spring clip and I removed it and tossed it. The clip is fully reversible if you want to move it the mounting screws take a Torx 6 driver.
