Effective epilator, useful attachments
It is definitely painful to use the first few times. The pain fades quickly and it becomes easier. Baby powder is a must to prevent painful, repeated hair pulling without actually freeing it from the skin. The powder made a dense, difficult area much easier to finish by absorbing natural oil on the hair shafts and increasing friction for the tweezers. I use an elliptical motion to give the widely spaced tweezers some side to side movement to pull out missed hairs. Body hair really returns lighter, thinner, and slower growing every time. Redness from damage beneath the surface goes away in a few days. Maintenance takes less time on every pass. The hair clipper attachment is very good and safe. The shaver is kind of OK, but not as good as a dedicated one. Its closer trimmer is good. The sandpaper cylinder is excellent for heel skin, and the bright LED shows plenty of powder flying off. I tried the cylinder on nails and won't do it again. I thought it was great at first, with power and quick results. The nails looked fine from above, but the lower edges were all fibrous and ragged.Epilating is a great thing, once the initial pain is overcome. The pain doesn't worsen. This product is nicely made. The parts fit together well. It's easy to keep everything looking clean. I think it's best to use it when plugged in due to limited power and battery life. The battery is good for quick touch-ups on easily removed hair. The motor struggles and audibly slows down on thicker, stronger hair. I rate this item as 5 stars for the excellent value and smooth grooming results.Update: It's still working and powerful after six weeks of heavy weekly use. I'm just handling small amounts of regrowth, so the task goes by quickly. Minimal pain now. Such freedom compared to shaving. I'm glad I bought one.

First time user
This was my first time using an epilator but I am not disappointed. Certain areas are more sensitive, but it’s generally nearly painless. I do have to go over the same area several times (not sure if that’s all epilators) and it still doesn’t get all of the hair after several times in all directions, but it does help!I’d love to find one that is more effective with fewer passings over the same area. But, I’ve been enjoying this one for now and since I’ve never used one before am assuming they might all be this way unless they’re quite more expensive.

Looks like a toy, but is a great tool and value!
I have owned two other epilators - one electric, one rechargeable/waterproof, both were over $100/each. They worked - just okay.I have both very fine and coarser hair in places, and both types have their challenges in epilating; nothing I've found works in one or two passes - you have to have the patience to take as many passes as needed to get the job done. My prior epilators had broader heads than this Hong Sheng (Korean mfr) version - I expected less from this epilator than the performance i got from my current ones, but thought it would be good on travel. Imagine my surprise when this inexpensive version actually performed better than my others. I am recommending the epilator, but have also used the shaver - both are fine. Holds a charge over 20 min of use (I am one to use more frequently for a smaller block of time - Im short on patience, yes, but I seem to get better results over time that way. Lightweight, colorful as a toy, but sturdy enough for everyday use. Cant beat the price!

4 in 1 Rechargeable Electric Epilator, Trimmer, Shaver and Callus Remover
Had to update my review. This was good while it lasted. If you aren't the type of person that takes care of your feet. I suggest to get something with more power and strength. But I always took care of my feet, so the callus remover is used for touch-ups only. Even though I found the refill rollers for this device, buy as many as you can. The rollers wears down quickly. The battery life was good at one point but it dies down quickly. Even if I plug in the charger and try to do my feet, while it is charging it doesn't fully charge and goes in and out. This was a great idea and was convenient and still is if you're wanting to do a quick touch-up here and there. I still have issues with the epilator...it hurts and not use to the epilator. It was one of the reason for me buying this to try the epilator but I will just stick to shaving. I dislike having to go from 5 to 3 stars. The seller was so nice by giving me a free Silicone Electric Facial Cleanser for posting a 5 star review and how I loved this device, which at the time I did. The Silicone Electic Facial Cleanser is nice and no issue with it. All-in-all if you want as I stated a device for touch-ups this will do. But stick to Amope or the Micro-Pedi that is rechargeable but not battery operated. I haven't used the trimmer for the hair yet but the shaver is ok. This device was a great idea and a convenient one. I will stick to my Micro-pedi and regular pumice stone. And if you're looking for a replaceable adapter charger that's 100-240 V 50/60HZ 3W...you can find it on eBay or Amazon, but I will say the adapters are shaped differently but as long as the prong goes in that tiny whole it should work. I paid twenty something dollars for this...just glad that I didn't pay more.

It is very difficult to use
It was difficult to use, and not much for directions. It took several tries before I saw any benefit. It is difficult to use in bikini area. However, it works very well for the armpit area and legs. Even with unit plugged in entire time, there is not enough power to finish one leg. It is very time consuming. It works, but not worth the money or the time. Buy one with a larger head that is capable of pulling more hair at one time.
