We purchased this to keep water off our pool cover during the off season. It works great draining down standing water. Also worked perfect for our yard fountain to drain and clean.

This pump was ideal for use in my Koi pond. It quit working after 2-1/2 months. I got in touch with RainBro pumps and they sent me a brand new replacement pump. I definitely recommend RainBro!

I put it in 9" of water and it didn't pump. I figured out I needed to tip it over to clear out the air. It has a large empty space at the bottom, presumably to make it look bigger, without providing any actual benefit. The motor is small and doesn't pump very much. I have a ¾ hp pump that pumps 10 times as much. Because of the bad design, it won't start pumping in anything less than 6" of water. Total Chinese junk. And it doesn't come with a hose connection, like is advertised.

This thing drained my spa quick and easy. Just hook up a hose or tubing and start draining. Has different options for hose size that makes it very convenient and easy. Very powerful and built to last. Very quiet motor and simple to use.

A very good quality pump with strong flow rate compared with other pool cover pumps I have had in the past. With a 5/8" hose attached, I was able to put a sprinkler on the hose to spread out the water and make ponding less of a problem.One feature that I like best is that it pumps down to almost no water left. I used it to pump out my small patio pond of "winter water" and it pumped down to 3/8" of water left.I would recommend it to others as itIs a great value for the price amd has a lot of power and flow rate.vI would have liked it to have an attachment with wider base to keep it from tipping as the weight of the motor makes it a bit top heavy and prone to tip over. I may make a bigger base on my own to solve tge tipping over issue.
