Zoho 4 Everyone

This book is far better than I expected. Zoho Writer is covered right away as an introduction and in depth, and then Connor moves quickly to Zoho's strength: collaboration followed by spreadsheets. Well worth the money, and not just a regurgitation of the Help files or blog content. The content is easy to follow and never bogs down into trudge or minutiae. Businesses using Zoho as an office platform will really be able to take advantage of its features after learning how complete a solution it is.My main computers are Linux systems and once in a while I have to jump to a Windows box at some offices. Nancy Connor shows that by using the ISO-standard open source ODF over proprietary Microsoft formats, you can take your data with you anywhere -- from disc to Google and back to OpenOffice to MS Office to OS X to Linux to Windows. (Microsoft formats have been notoriously unreliable over the years and can only be used on Windows computers using expensive Microsoft software.) Loaded with tips and explanations to save you time and better, not waste your time once you get started. Connor's book is well worth having at hand, I promise.________________________________________________CAVEAT: The QUE/Safari website allows you to access a free version online, which is good for 45 days after registration. There is also a free PDF version offered, but it downloaded using a microscopic PDF icon at the top of the web page, so look for it. It will "generate" the PDF and send you an email link telling you where to download it. Make sure you get the full copy of the book and not just a PDF of one chapter.

i've purchased 3 ZOHO books and this one is by far the best one!!! i was a complete CRM novice AND a new business owner, so i was literally having to teach myself everything from the ground up. from "what exactly is a CRM?"...to....how to run a business....to....how to manage clients....to....how to manage employees. i have gone back to reference this book 9 times out of 10. it is easy to read and understand and it gives you a MUCH better (more thorough) explanation of EVERYTHING than any of the other "For Dummies" books i purchased.

I must applaud the author for doing a great summary of Zoho and the various applications that are contained and can be created with this invaluable resource. There are things Zoho does that other on-line web-apps cannot touch.I was personally interested in the "Creator" section of Zoho which enables one to create on-line embedded applications into your own web-site. I believe a whole book could be devoted to this section alone.Would recommend to anyone beginner/intermediate. Expert would find it boring.Meets the criteria the author set out to accomplish - acquaint readers with Zoho.

This book is not for in-depth knowledge on using zoho. It is an overview of the software and additional apps within zoho. If you are looking for how to use zoho you would be better off going to the knowledgebase or youtube.

I purchased the book because I'm an enthousiastic Zoho user.unfortunatly, the book is a disapointment for me.To be honest, I am especially interested in Zoho CRM, Invoice and Projets.Well this section is almost completely outdated...As far as the printing quality of the book is concerned, the screen shots are realy bad. They are all in a light grey scale with a very bad contrast so very difficult to consult.So to me this was a mistake buying the book.

Zoho 4 Everyone is a mediocre book at best. The book doesn't really address Zoho CRM - the flagship Zoho product - only 25 pages out of 420.She needs to do 1 book for CRM with Invoice, and another for everything else.

Overall the book was meh. I needed supplementary instructions to go with the zero instructions available for the CRM package. The book is a very shallow treatment of the package, overall. I guess I'll have to woodshed on my own!
