Really nice quality for the money. Worth the extra spend over the flimsy items made for the fancy dress costume market. There was one small snag - one end of the braces had no button hole! It's just a slit in the leather and a few minutes with a scalpel sorted it - but I'm glad I discovered it in advance and not when getting ready to go out! The size numbers are a bit of a mystery - after reading various size guides I chose a 50 which is a comfortably generous fit - I normally wear 34" trousers. Due to the braces it's fine for them to be on the big side - room for expansion as you consume all that lovely Bier, Wurst, Hax'n, Kartoffelknödel and Sauerkraut!

Great quality for the price! I wore these to Oktoberfest in Munich and felt like I was fitting in: It was quite fun picking out the people who clearly had fancy dress Laderhosen.These are really well made and rather sturdy - i feel they will last me for many years. The stitching, buttons and buckles are all very good and the design is very classic.The only downside was the cut was a bit weird to fit my body. I order a waist size up to allow for some "expansion" but the hip/thigh are was still really tight; nothing a bit of stretching the week before couldn't fix

Hard to believe but these make getting down to some serious drinking with the lads even more fun. It’s hard not to feel a bit sexier than usual when you slip into your leather shorts. The chicks will notice you moving that bit more confidently in thier midst. These are quite commodious in the seat, perfect for a day on the benches of Munchen and the powerfully buttocked gentleman drinker. Pockets are a bit tight if you’ve got a big phone, but that shouldn’t put you off these exceptional shorts. They’ll last a lifetime.

The trousers, size 56 for a 36 to 38 inch waist size fit well. Quality seems very good for the money, but will wait and see how they survive actually being worn, rather than just tried on - hence only 4 stars. Again excellent delivery.

I have a 34/36inch waist, and the 54 fit was pretty good. Quite tight over my knees, but has loosened up by the end of the weekend. Product seems to be the same quality as the standard sets out in Munich, but for about £20 less. Good purchase

Small fit (but my husband does have big calves). Had to order a bigger size, which is now too big on waist but nothing a good belt won't solve. No problem with the exchange - all easy. Material is really good and looks nice on.

Ideal for Oktoberfest. Order early to make sure you get your size right, as the first pair I ordered were way too big. They look and feel great. The shoulder straps and chest piece are very cheap though.

I needed some lederhosen for a German-themed party and was undecided between this 'authentic' item and cheaper 'fancy dress' versions. I went for these ones and I am really glad that I did. The price is a little higher, but the quality is significantly better - the suade feels good quality and they are actually really comfortable! I'm hoping for another chance to wear them again, at some stage - they will remain at the back of my wardrobe for now, but I'm still happy they are in there!
