Very similar to Tombow markers but a little more budget-friendly.
I started learning modern calligraphy about 3 or 4 months ago, but I'm very cheap when it comes to buying products for crafting because I'm a craftaholic and can easily spend hundreds on a new hobby. So I mostly used crayola markers at first because they're cheap and colorful. I eventually bought a set of brush markers that frayed very quickly and that was disappointing. Finally I took a few hours scouring Amazon for a top quality products, and I knew that tombow were probably the best but I didn't wanna spend the money on tombow markers. I came across this set and really took a look at the quality and watched the videos provided. I really liked the way they looked and I bought them. I've had them for probably a month or so and I think my technique has improved vastly just by having good quality product. The markers are smooth, colorful and vibrant, and are easy to use. I have one tombow marker and I would say these are comparable to those. Very good quality! If you're looking for a good beginner lettering marker set, these are for you!

Some of the best brush markers I've ever used!
There are a lot of brush markers on the market. Some are very expensive and some more economical but the quality has always been the sticky point for me.These brush markers are some of the best I've ever used. I enjoy coloring and doing brush calligraphy and these wonderful markers are totally up to the challenge. Colors are bright, beautiful and non fading. The brush nibs are pliable yet resist breaking down which has been a problem for many of the brush that I've used before. They can do fine lines and broad strokes beautifully. All in all this is wonderful set of brush markers set at a very good price for the quality and would indeed make a great gift for any creative arts Soul on your gift list!

Great pens!
I love drawing and I was looking for good brush pens. I like Cedar Markers pens. They are nice, beautiful colors, seems like good quality, and arrived on time. Video is confusing. I thought that you get a calligraphy book with the purchase, however there is two different options, with book and without.

Vibrant color, low bleed, lovely packaging
These markers are beautifully vibrant and do not bleed at all in either my store-bought notebook or my self-made 32# paper discbound planner, even with multiple passes of markers over the same area.I did find some bleed when using the blending marker, but it was fairly low.The package they ship in is also quite sturdy and a perfect container for organizing the markers. Each marker is also marked with its color code, so if I use up one before the others, I'll know exactly which to buy.So far, so good.PLEASE NOTE: I have only had these markers a few days and cannot speak to their longevity.

As Good As Any I've Used !!
These pens were nicely packaged, came in a secure protective box, shrink wrapped, pens are vibrant colors, easily comparable to TomB....type, for which I paid more. Being a professional artist, I've tried many of these dual brush pens. The flow is good, smooth, no skipping or fibers hanging from the brush. In fact, there are more fibery bits on TomB... type. So I am very pleased. I opened them up, tried both ends of each pen.....100 % worked perfectly and smoothly. The book that accompanies these....well, I expected a booklet, but got a real book, basically includes everything to learn brush lettering. I couldn't have wished for more. So impressed. I got no discounts, no compensation.....have about stopped writing reviews, but these pens deserved something extra. I can recommend them without any hesitation. For $33, you can have all the colors you really need to begin with dual brushes. I did my color test on the equivalent of writing paper, and no bleed through. I think what impressed me the most was the flowing smoothness......just makes lettering easier and more fun and certainly inspired me a lot. Like the pen was doing all the work.

Good quality, good price and a thoughtful inclusion of a guide book.
The set of pens arrived swiftly and was properly and tightly bound in plastic. This was a gift for a young member of the family and the recipient was very pleased with the pens and book which had instructions as well as pages for practise. After reading about the background to Cedar and being impressed with the quality of the pens and the helpful inclusion of an instruction book, I plan to buy another set as a gift. The item is also well priced.

Box came dirty, funky smell
Markers are good quality and have good color payoff for a cheap marker. The brush tips are pretty nice as well. However the box came pretty dirty and the markers smelled super strong. Wouldn't buy them for myself but it was a good gift.

Great for beginners
I just started out with a bullet journal. I've always been pretty crafty but I suck at lettering - especially being left-handed - and I wanted to make my journal pretty so picked up this set. I love it - the book is great and easy to follow and the pens are easy to use.
