To most of us, when we draw the selection of paper is on par with the choice of graphite or colored pencil brand. In other words, those choices directly influence the “look” and very much so the professional quality of the final product.An otherwise excellent artist is only hurting him or herself by choosing inferior tools. Why do that? I have been through many papers for my graphite and colored pencil work and Stonehenge has proven hands down to be one of the best for dry media. I love the variety of soft toned colors, and without a doubt your drawings will look their best on this paper. In particular, I am pretty heavy-handed with my colored pencil “layering” to get just the hue or glow I want, and some other papers tend to begin small tears as I grind away ... aargh!! But this heavy paper takes it all in stride, which was highly refreshing the first time I tried it.If you’re a pro like I am and actively sell your work, you are aware that tool choice drives the look and feel of drawings especially, and sometimes you may want a ‘look’ that requires a different set of pencils or paper, but ... inform me that I’m going to draw and paint on a desert island for 20 years with no further supplies once I get there, and my first order for my drawing work will be a truckload of these Stonehenge pads! ✍️😎👍🏼

It’s a beautiful drawing paper surface.

Smooth with teeth, cotton soft with the strength to hold multiple layers of colored pencils. Nothing compares.

Haven't used it yet, but I'm sure the quality is good. 4 stars because it came slightly damaged. Little indentations in packaging which also show on first 3 pages. That is not good for the high price of quality paper and only 15 sheets to a pad. I will work around those pages but very disappointing. I suggest putting a piece of cardboard over front cover if you are mailing it in an envelope.

I was really disappointed to find the paper damaged, especially at this price point. I needed it urgently for a project, so I didn't have time to go through the return process, and just replacing was not an option. I would have been happy if they sent another, but I needed to send this one back first, which I didn't have time to do. The paper (aside from the damage) is beautiful, and the varying tones are fun to work with if you aren't yet dedicated to a single shade of paper. It held up well with two layers of screen printing medium. Overall I like the paper, but I would NOT buy from this seller again.

Great for colored pencils

O just love this paper! It is so different than paper made out of trees. This is 100% cotton! And I love the way pastels take to it!

I was expecting paper which had more diversity. The paper is beautiful very well-made and only comes in varying shades of white that are almost impossible to determine one from the other. I'm looking for paper that is for a variety of colors not just tone on tone. this is not that even though it says multicolor what they mean is multi tonal.
