Emollin 50/50 Emollient Spray --- Moisturises & Protects Skin from Irritation and Soreness - 240ml

It's brilliant. After a week of use, a dry and painful back was almost completely healed. Using it every day and skin is smooth, not itchy and not dry. Game changer. And it's easy to spray onto the back!

Having used almost a whole tin I have finally decided that I like this so have bought another. I wasn't too sure at first as it is a very thin, oily liquid which is quite unlike using one of those ointments or emollients in a pump bottle. It definitely will not be for everyone at all. The spray is super fine (so far as obviously I have only used the one tin so am hopeful my next tin will likewise have this super fine spray) and the tin can be used at different angles. I use it on my back and it is still a little difficult to reach. I use a hand mirror in one hand and a backroom mirror behind me to make sure I am angling the tin correctly so the spray hits my back and not the floor or my hair (done that a few times). I also use on my feet over a towel, and spray both together as the spray does cover quite a good area. I find it easier to use for my back than the ointment which I was applying with a very soft wet back brush. With trial and error I have found that only a short spray is needed, and at first was using far too much as being such a fine spray and being kept in a warm room I could barely (if at all) feel where I had put it. I only wear loose cotton t-shirts which I can hot wash so can't say about whether this spray would be suitable for example if wearing a work shirt or blouse etc. So it is a yes for me for those two areas of application and considering the type of clothing I wear.

Very good but expensive. It is definitely worth the cost if like me, you struggle to use moisturising cream for whatever reason or if your skin is too sore to rub cream in. You're paying for the technology with this product, the actual product inside is just a liquid ointment. The amount of product is 250ml so not a lot for the size of the canister and the price, but it lasts a reasonable length of time and it's so easy to use. What makes this one different to other sprays is that the liquid is stored in a bag inside the canister meaning it works held and used at any angle. I have never seen any other spray bottle that can do this. It makes reaching awkward areas much easier. And the nozzle is easy to press with a very smooth motion so good for limited dexterity and hand strength. It is essentially just ointment in liquid form, so it is greasy but it moisturises well and i don't get the same itchiness with this as I do with regular ointment (which is very cheap and i still use it sometimes). I guess it's because it's a thin layer that is more breathable. If you can get by with a typical spray moisturiser then give this product a miss just to save money. If you need it, it's very helpful. I think there's even smaller sizes available for going out and about so no excuses not to moisturise throughout the day like you're supposed to with skin conditions. However I have not yet been able to get hold of this. On a side note, if you struggle to use a moisturising cream and have a skin condition requiring frequent moisturising and management then this product is actually available on NHS prescription if you can convince your GP that you benefit from it and need it. I will be attempting this as i am unable to use my prescribed moisturising cream all over my body as much as i need to, i can do small areas at a time but not my whole body, however this product makes it much less tiring and easier. It doesn't feel too cold either so nice and gentle on sensitive skin.

Easy for seniors to use, directional spray so goes where intended. No need to reach for rubbing in. Massive improvement noticed to dry scaly skin. Would recommend.

I use this on a regular basis. It seems to last well. It forms a good barrier where needed. You can use at all angles which is a bonus.

Had this spray for a week now, been using it twice a day and my legs have never been more comfortable. I have tried every lotion, cream, gel on the market. As I suffer with very dry and itchy skin, this has completely calmed my skin down and doesn't feel so tight anymore. If I could give a million stars I would. Very happy customer.

I was delighted to discover this spray emollient which I use on the legs of my frail, elderly relative. As her skin is so tender and painful it was very difficult formerly to apply cream emollient. This spray has been a godsend - it can be sprayed from any angle and coats the skin in a fine moisturising mist and helps maintain the skin's integrity. So it very much contributes to preventing my relative from developing cellulitis and it certainly works! One can of emollient spray seems to last for a number of weeks. We are both very pleased with this product.

If you are looking at this product is probably because, like many of us, suffer from some sort of skin condition. You will have heard countless times from your doctor how you must moisturise twice a day daily, but that is just not practical! Worry no more! With Emollin Spray it is SO EASY, to cover your whole body in a matter of minutes after every shower, you will have no problem keeping up with your routine. Yes it is pricey, but it is well worth the price tag. PS. Do use in the bathtub or put a towel under your feet when spraying, there will be some inevitable invisible and slippery spill-off going onto your floors. After a while I have found ways to spray to keep this to a minimum, but will take some practice.
