I am a huge fan of Designs for Health. My dermatologist wants me to take niacin. I have taken cheap brands and they make me nauseous. I thought I would try my favorite brand of high quality vitamins. Well, I broke out in hives within a few minutes of taking. I am very sensitive to many medications and supplements. I think niacin is just not for me. But I will continue to buy designs for health products. I truly believe that they make exceptional products!

Why did you pick this product vs others?: I have a blockage and was told this could help! Why not give it a try?! I am hopeful!

Works great! Been using a week had no flushing

My friend said this product dropped her Cholseterol nearly 30 points. So I tried it. Unfortuante for me, I got a strong facial flush that looked like a face burn and I could feel it. I stopped taking this and it quickly went away. I still have it -- might be OK to take once in a while, but not consistantly due to flush. I ended up buying the Life Ext no flush Niacin and that seems to be working for me for over 3 months now -- no flush and cholsterol decrease 31 points! Hence, you have to try and decide what is best for you. By the way, my firend gets a flush but apparently not enough to bother her to stop it. For me, it was way too much of a flush! Hope this helps!

Aging and knowing the importance of Niacin, decided to try, yet another medical grade. Like many, had side effects of Niacin - even skipping a day or 2 in between - flushing and itching only increased. DFH formula, for me, zero side effects. Cholesterol is normal but past yr levels could be better. After all, what is the pt of having blood checked twice a yr and ignoring results, when ofen - but not always - a supplement might delay the use of a drug. Hope this review helps someone on the fence about trying yet another brand of Niacin.

I'd like a refund. This is not a no-flush niacin. I take a brand through FullScript and have never had a problem. I ran out and tried this brand, immediately flush.

Good product, no after taste

Not as advertised.....firstly it does not dissolve, comes out the way it went in. When crushed, it haves that HORRIBLE flush, so there is NO buffering compound. Just Niacin, that flushes.
