Clarks Elite MTB/Hybrid Brake Pads Integral Block W/Triple Compound Insert Pads, 72 mm

These brakes are on my 2012 Trek FX 7.3 hybrid bike. They are a fantastic upgrade from the stock pads. Down steep hills no fade and GREAT stopping power. No squeak ! That is if you install with a little toe in. Check out a few videos for tips. I don’t ride in the rain so I cannot give a wet weather review. They shipped from England and arrived sooner than expected. I highly recommend them.

Excellent stopping power, easy to change. Check your brake pads and change them once in awhile. Make sure they are aligned and tighten them. These took a little longer to arrive coming from Europe but no big deal.

Whoa, talk about some quality brakes! I replaced the (nearly new) factory brake pads on my bike and only expected a negligible difference. Man, was I so wrong! These things look awesome and work even better. I can hit my brakes without a worry at all! They were so inexpensive and a snap to install. I will definitely buy these again...if I need to!

I used these on a single speed bicycle with brakes only on the front wheel. These brake pads are perfect for that. They have a large surface area and wear evenly. They are quiet when utilized and I will re buy the same ones when they wear out.

Nice. I like these pads. I replace very old pads that squeaked and got the squeak out.

Bought these to replace the 'road pads' on a road bike because logically, a bigger surface area would mean greater stopping power. These pads were actually worse than the shimano road pads . :( I'll try a different kind of pads from clarks because i use their disc pads with kevlar, and they are awesome so i figure they must know what they are doing.

Ho comprato, per la seconda volta, questo articolo per sostituire i precedenti. Ne faccio uso in contesto misto, sia in montagna (scendendo anche da discese abbastanza sconnessole e ripide) che su asfalto. La frenata che offrono sull'ASCIUTTO, ovviamente, non è paragonabile nemmeno lontanamente ai freni idraulici ma, rispetto a v-break dei negozi di bassa qualità, è notevole. Per quanto concerne la frenata in condizioni di fango le prestazioni calano nettamente rispetto alle condizioni precedenti, ma non per causa dei freni bensì del sistema frenate. Il MONTAGGIO è semplice, alla portata di chiunque. Il prezzo mi sembra onesto pertanto li CONSIGLIO.

He comprado estas pastillas v-brake para sustituir las que tenia de serie en una bici plegable btwin tilt 500. Son un poco más largas por lo que frenan algo mejor, el montaje es muy sencillo, vienen marcados con la L (izquierda) y R (derecha) montado en la bici, y con una flecha que indica front para que la pongas en ese sentido (muy fácil)Para instalarlas como cualquier otra dejas una arandela concava para cada lado y lo apreras al sistema v-brake (adjunto la foto) y realmente queda genial.Son unas pastillas económicas (4.20€) que según mi opinión frenan mejor que las de un todo a cien o las del decathlon, estoy contento con la compra, sobre la duración no puedo comentar ya que tienen 15 días.Agradezco si os parece útil el comentario 1 like.
