7- Fire Smoked Sea Salt 1.5 oz

This salt smelled like chemicals but tasted fine on food. The one big problem I find is the jar is shaped as if it should have an inner lid with holes in it so you can shake it on food. The opening is too small to get anything more than one (small) finger in it so you’re at risk of dumping a bunch of salt on your food. Had it open for probably no more than a week (lid was screwed on tight) and it caked up. It wasn’t used over hot food (used it once) and it’s not humid here at all right now so no idea why that happened. I tried using a dinner knife to loosen it up and chipped the glass jar in the process. Little shards of glass too hard to see were on my counter so I threw the whole thing out afraid of some being in the product. Won’t order again.

This is a perfect lemon salt for adding to sliced tomatoes or fruit. The large grains look good and taste good.Like every other lemon salt I've tried, this stuff loves moisture, and could have a tendency to clump up. The fact that it's a small bottle is a plus, because I'll have used it all before the moisture that creeps in any time the bottle is opened has a chance to turn it into a solid lump.I wish someone would put out a lemon salt that has a shaker top and maybe some of those dehumidifier packets in the bottom to help keep the stuff from attracting moisture! I use a finer-grained lemon salt with dried rice in the shaker for table use (the lemon flavor helps cut down on the amount of actual salt I get at the table).

Just a quick heads up, most of the stuff online or in stores that you can buy is made synthetically with ingredients like 2,4-dithiapentane which is a chemical that simulates the flavor and aroma of truffle made products. This is one of maybe a few products that doesn't have this artificial/natural chemical aroma/flavor. This salt is the real deal with only two ingredients, salt and truffle. I have bought so many products like salt, oil, spices, ketchup, etc that all have artificial truffle flavorings added to it and I'm so ecstatic about finding this real truffle salt that's all natural with real Italian truffles. I know what real genuine truffles smell and taste like and this is the REAL DEAL GOOD STUFF!!! Thank you so much for such an amazing product. I will be a repeat customer for sure now.

It’s really good. Strong truffle flavor. A bit pricy tho.

You have to add way to much to get any heat. You wind up over salting your food just to get the heat you want and by that time it's pretty much inedible. It tastes good, but needs more pepper.

This makes a baked potato special or sautéed mushrooms really flavorful. I liked that it was salt and truffle only, no artificial flavor. Yes it’s expensive but it takes very little to flavor a dish. I do suggest you use very little. A little goes a long way applies.

I originally bought this product 10 years ago at a farmers market and have have never found a comparable product. I was so happy to find it on Amazon, my picky eater son LOVES when I make spicy carrots with this (even more than the Mexican spicy carrots). I just slice up raw carrots and squeeze fresh lemon juice and a bunch of the Habanero Salt and let it marinate and my non-veggie eating son devours the entire batch within 24 hours! Would be yummy on corn on the Cobb and meats too.

wish it was cheap and more finely ground after smoked, i grind mine before use. TASTES SO DANG GOOD very authentic hickory smoke flavor
