I've been very happy with everything I've bought from Performance Tool. Functional, quality materials, reasonable price. Best oil drain pan I've owned ... and probably like you I've owned a LOT of cheap ones! This one hasn't leaked, broken or otherwise made me regret buying it.

Very Practical and Works Perfectly! This oil drain container makes oil changes so much easier. It’s sturdy, leak-proof, and easy to carry. The large capacity is perfect, and the built-in handles make it simple to pour out without mess. A must-have for DIY car maintenance!

Perfect at home use, holds enough oil for the year and half the cost of anything else you'll find at this size.

Buyer beware! The hole for the oil is about 3” wide so if you drop your oil pan plug it will fall into the oil container and the shape and size make it impossible to get out, and it would be a huge mess if you even try since it would then be full of oil. I thought maybe someone had modified this one annd returned it, but you can see in the video that it is designed with that massive hole and no way to stop something from falling into. Also, the container leaks out of every opening so it is basically useless.

Makes performing oil changes at home a whole lot easier. Having a drain and storage container in one helps cut down the mess and makes it easier to bring used fluids to get recycled. The plastic used is high quality and strong, and the seals on the cap prevent leaks.

The oil container is made from sturdy hard plastic. Its strong enough to hold hot motor oil. When i drained mine used oil the temp. was a little over 140F. It held well. I had no oil leaks. The main and only trouble comes from the very shallow basin where the initial splash and speed of oil drain can and will overwhelm the protective rim and will spill some oil. So be prepared! If you still decide to buy it, you better modify it like i did with taller walls that will prevent oil from spilling out! It has two very comfortable handles. Its still a good value for the money. Like i said, it has only one drawback! Good functionality and good size!

Looks like good quality product. Doesn’t fit under my car so sadly had to return it.

Works great, but I suggest buying the larger capacity.
