Great shampoo, weird smell
I have used Aveda Color Conserve shampoo for YEARS and been very pleased with the product. Apparently, Aveda discontinued that shampoo and replaced it with this one - Color Control. On the plus side, the shampoo is very good with color treated hair. HOWEVER, the smell of this shampoo is awful! After I used it my hair smelled like cigar smoke. Also, Aveda has reduced the size of the bottle so you get less shampoo for the price. I don't know why companies change a successful product and then reduce the size. It's a shame because Aveda has lost my loyalty to their shampoo. I will not use the bottle I purchased because the smell is too strong.
