C.E.T. Oral Hygiene Rinse contains ZincChlorhexidate, a synergistic combination of two effective oral hygiene compounds to guard against plaque without brushing. ZincChlorhexidate combines chlorhexidine, the most effective anti plaque agent available, and zinc gluconate, a compound which inhibits plaque and calculus maturation, enhances the anti plaque activity of chlorhexidine and reduces bad breath. C.E.T. Oral Hygiene Rinse also contains cetylpyridinium chloride for fresher, clean smelling breath. Spherulite technology is a patented encapsulation system develop by Virbac, which can extend the release of active ingredients at the site of application for longer efficacy. Directions: Rinse daily following each meal or as directed by your veterinarian. Hold bottle in the upright position, below your pet's field of vision. Gently elevate the upper lip to expose the teeth and gums. Point and squeeze to apply a gentle stream of C.E.T. Oral Hygiene Rinse. Avoid touching the gum with the nozzle to avoid any injury in case of movement of your pet.

My cat had really bad breath before
My cat had really bad breath before; I mean stinky, dead fish breath. I tried snacks but that didn't seem to do anything, plus she has never been too keen on eating. After using this for 5 days or so, I couldn't smell her meows anymore and her gums look less inflamed as well. She's an extremely docile cat and will let me manipulate her as long as I have a hand on her, but I could see how this could be really messy for a less cooperative cat. It's kind of sticky when it dries and if your pet likes to shake, it gets everywhere. I suggest keeping a tissue nearby when using this to wipe off any excess that might end up dripping from the sides of their mouths or any target inaccuracies.

Great Rinse
I have 2 Italian greyhounds, which are a breed notorious for bad teeth. I use this rinse after brushing and it visibly seems to help out their gums. One of my iggies had to have his 2 front teeth pulled due to an injury. We watched carefully for almost 3 months to see if his gums would heal before when we finally chose to get the teeth pulled. Sadly, the injured gums basically stayed the same, but the vet said my use of this rinse may have saved the other 2 teeth since it prevented an infection from forming.

Works great for my cats who had bad breath
Works great for my cats who had bad breath. We don't use the applicator but squirt some on the finger and rub it on their teeth and gum area. Works wonders. It last for about a day, so unfortunately you will have to use it on a daily basis. Good thing is that the way we use it, one bottle last forever. I bought this in 2015 and still have more than half left.

No more Bad Breath - excellent addition to help with Pug's Oral hygiene
Absolutely love this stuff. My pug bless her soul but she's got some bad breath and sometimes getting her to cooperate with brushing is difficult. This has made my life and hers all the better. NO MORE BAD BREATH! It's crazy! And using this oral rinse in conjunction with brushing has really improved her oral health ten fold. Definitely worth buying. Would recommend this to anyone.

Keep Your Cats' Teeth and Gums Healthy
I use this for my cats, neither of whom have ever had dental work. This solution used regularly helps keep their teeth and gums healthy. The one drawback is that cats don't appreciate having something squirted around their mouth/teeth. But since mine don't get dental care, this is the next best alternative!

Work Well & Cats Don't Mind the Taste
I've tried various dental rinses and this one has the least offensive taste to all my cats. I use it one of two ways after pouring ~1/4" of it in in a little 1 oz Solo paper cup, depending on the cat. One has few teeth and I take a thin dental cleaning pad and wrap it around my finger and then dip it in the cup. I then rub the wet pad up and down her teeth, redipping it to get food off, etc. as necessary. For my other cat, I use a tiny cat toothbrush with a head about 1/2 inch round. I dip that in the cup to get some rinse on it, using this instead of cat toothpaste as they tolerate this better. My vet is very happy with my cats' teeth. Doing this every other day, along with scaling at home, keeps their teeth healthy.

eeeh, ok
cat owner here. use pipette instead of enclosed straw. that's a major stressor for animals. flow impossible to control.and i'm still not sure if the liquid works. bought it only per vet's suggestion.

Definitely Working!
I've noticed the redness leaving in a very short time around my older cats teeth, it's very easy to apply and once you get the hang of it your kitty will have no discomfort, just a few gentle squirts and your done. I use it once in the morning and once at night.
