Great sensor
This sensor came exactly as expected and is working great. Sensor accuracy actually exceeded my expectations too. No complaints

Fails after about 2 minutes of use- Even the replacement.
I ordered one and it was easy to install and get working, but failed after about 2 minutes of continuous use. I requested an exchange and received it promptly. The replacement sat on my desk for a few weeks and when I hooked it up today, it failed again within minutes of use. I tried 5V the first board and 3.3V the second. There wasn't much else to troubleshoot given the time of operation.

Great
Works great to display short distances.

Unfortunately it did not work.
Unfortunately it did not work. Just like some others mentioned, i tried different devices with no luck. I tried to give it a shot but I was one of the unlucky ones.

Good product if it works, but quality control is an issue
Ordered 3 of these sensors, and one of them didn't work. Kind of disappointed but compared to the price of the Adafruit time of flight sensor, I guess it's worth it...The accuracy is good enough for the applications I'm using it for so no drawbacks on that aspect. But if you need a really accurate distance sensor, this is probably not the ideal product for you.

Very Accurate
This thing is super accurate. Great if you need to monitor or measure a short distance accurately. It is super small and does not use as much room as standard ultra sonic sensors. Great for small robots or small machines.

Low Detectability and Precision
It's ability to detect an arbitrary object drops off precipitously after about 400mm, which is far below the claimed 2meters. A highly reflective object performs better, but this is far from the +/-10% tolerance of "less optimal conditions", as claimed.

good sensor
I bought it to test with Arduino. Downloaded library for VL53L0X. Surprisingly it worked right away.
