I took a chance on this charger mount. There was another brand at a much higher price, and this one looked good but didn't have any reviews at the time, so I just decided to try this one. It seems to be well-made. My only complaint was that on the sides of the mount that hold the phone, there is no cushioning, which may scratch phones/cases. I had some adhesive felt, so I just used that for my mount. I don't have any problems with it mounting into my cd slot, though I would advise other users to take it slow when tightening the adjustment screw. Of course if you turn it too fast or over-torque it, the plastic will break, that's what plastic does. The charging can be somewhat finicky, but that's true for most wireless chargers I've encountered, so I won't fault this mount for that. It charges through my case and does it pretty quickly, so I'm good with it. Overall, I'm happy with this product, and I will not be returning it. I hope other customers find the attached pictures helpful.

Tried using the wireless charging, but that required me to take off my phone case which defeated the main purpose why I chose this model. I have wireless chargers I've bought from Amazon over a year ago and they charge my phone with the case with no issues, so this must not be strong enough. Plugging in the charging cable wasn't too bad.Still continued using the item for the car mount ability since we have a new state law prohibiting regarding cellphones while driving. About a week after installing the item the swivel became sensitive to every bump or turn movement. It would turn in multiple directions - good thing is my phone never fell out but it was a hassle to always move it back to be visible for driving.One of the rubber pieces to hold the phone in place also melted off about 10 days into using. In less than a month the mount now does not even stay in place when adjusted- usually I fidget with the charging cable to help it stay in place for a little while.I was disappointed how this did not meet any of my expectations...

This is a nice CD mounted wireless charger. Comes with a standard usb to micro usb charging cable as well as fast cars charging adapter. There are 2 usb ports in the adapter, one has a higher output, this is the one you should use to connect the wireless mount. It's nice to have the second output for your passenger. The phone holder is easily positioned any direction for your best viewing results. And locks in to the CD slot with a plastic wing nut, and a plastic tightening nut to lock in the angle of the phone holder. I tested with a note 5, and also my note 8, both charge perfectly when sitting in the hold. Small led on the bottom of the hold let's you know that it is on and charging, and just behind that is a button to loosen the side holders to adjust for phone size. Easily squeeze them together to hold the phone in the charger. Works excellent

First wireless charger, slower than directly plugging it in, but it does charge. mine came with foam on the sides, grips my phone (S7) perfectly. the cigarette adapter they give you is pretty loose in my outlet. Other than the slow charging, and the loose adapter, product looks good, and functions as expected.Update: 2 weeks later. Its doing alright. only problem I have is that occasionally it makes my phone to hot while charging and it has to take a break. Idk if that's from the battery getting too much juice/ too fast, or because the backing for the charging holder is an air tight silicone pad. silicone is heat resistant, so it makes sense that all the heat is being trapped between a glass backing, and a silicone wall though.

The two arms that clutch the phone failed. The button on the rear would no longer release. Once I pried the phone out no amount of pressure on the button would get it to work. The phone no longer is held in the charger.

If you use a phone case do not buy this product. The sides barely close, it is flimsy and does not hold steady at all. It bounces as you drive. My phone keeps falling out. I am returning it.

Amazing charger, workes great and I am in love with this product. Wirelessly charges my s9 plus and it so easy to use. I would like to recommend it to everyone. Have been using for about 3 weeks and no issues so far.

Second one and it has stopped working. The first one he reed worked and returned and the second worked for about one month. Now it will not charge. Replaced the cable and it only flashes for a second then nothing
