Cupping: Cupping is a traditional therapy method from Asian medicine which has already been used in ancient Egypt and ancient Greece. At that time, the cupping glasses were created with the help of a burning cotton swab and a vacuum was applied to the skin (usually on the back), with the idea of removing harmful substances through the skin by vacuum pressure. Nowadays, vacuum bells are used with a vacuum pump to prevent hazards from the fire. When cupping, the cupping glass is placed on the undamaged skin and a vacuum is generated with the aid of the vacuum pump. Through the suction process, red blood corpuscles from the vessels enter the tissue and thus increase the blood flow through the skin, the skin and the connective tissue. The skin temperature increases in the treated zone and the target area for several days and stimulates vegetative functions (e.g., metabolism, digestive hormone or mineral). Box content: 1 x rubber attachment without vacuum pump. -
