A compact, low cost, reliable fully re-useable socket tester which is suitable for testing the wiring correctness of a standard UK 13A socket outlet or a 13A multisocket trailing lead that meets British Standard BS1363. The plug requires no setting up, simply plug it into a known good socket (if required) to check all three indicators are working and then plug it into the socket to be tested and the three indicators will immediatly give a detailed status of the socket (correct and working, no-earth, live-neutral reverse, no neutral, live fault or live and earth reverse). The socket tester is supplied in full retail packaging complete with operating instructions.
