NEVEA TEARS formed in late 2002 in southern California. Releasing their debut full length, Do I Have to Tell You Why I Love You?, via Eulogy Recordings, NEVEA TEARS have become an Orange County favorite for many fans of the Metal/Emo Core genre. They are known for selling out venues such as the Chain Reaction in Anaheim, CA and the Showcase Theatre in Corona, CA, and they are a much sought after support act on tours routed through southern California. Their long awaited follow up to 2002's Do I Have to Tell You Why I Love You?, Run With the Hunted, is sure to be met with ravenous enthusiasm by fans. Expect a huge buzz around this record from fans of EVERY TIME I DIE, FROM FIRST TO LAST, and CHIODOS. Run With the Hunted is an explosive mix of NINE INCH NAILS meets DEFTONES meets EVERY TIME I DIE.

Unbelievable Sophomore Release
This band really needs to get some recognition out there because this kind of album destroys a lot of the more recognized post-hardcore albums. It is experimental post-hardcore at its finest. Blending electronic beats with brutal screams and soaring melodies it will take you for an emotional ride. The album starts out a bit slow with the first three tracks being, IMO, being the worst. Put it picks up at Tunnel Vision and never lets down from there. What I like best about the album is the variety of the songs. This is NOT an album where anyone can say "all the songs sound the same". Its impossible. Every song is very diverse and eclectic. The album may be hard to find in stores but buy it on iTunes, its really amazing.

Excellent
ETID and FFTL have nothing on this band. Nevea Tears mixes hardcore with awesome electronica to create a distinct sound for themselves. I was pleasantly surprised by their first release and am even more impressed by this sophomore effort. It's a bit more mellow than the previous but I prefer it that way. They do an excellent job of alternating between the hard and the soft and it makes for an amazing album. Pick this up.
