Q: what plastic is made of is it PT2 and PT5?

It's hard plastic. Don't know what type it is

Q: Is it heavy duty rubberised plastic (like american Rubbermaid brand) or made of cheap plastic that breaks very easily like most containers sold in UK?

It is not rubberised plastic so far as I can tell, but it is a recycled plastic that is much heavier-duty and hard-wearing than 95%+ of all of the container's I've seen or used in the UK. Purchased 4 originally (from Halfords store), then purchased another 10 from Amazon. They could become brittle over time potentially, and the way they stack, I would not want to put excessive weight in them as they nestle on the lid of the box below, with very little reinforcement below. No problems though with multiple KG's inside them stacked.

Q: How wide is the recess on the sides please
